** BRAZIL. 15145, April 21 at 0146, further monitoring of new RNA
frequency, into W4BF remote in FL. It`s JBA but fades up a bit to a
noisy S9. At 0148, token English already underway // 11780; has some
CCI which might be overload at the remote? About a member of an
Amazonian ethnic group, Joana Ticuma? singing national anthem in her
language, and a bit of that music, outro already at 0153. By 0202,
15145, 11780 and 6180 are all off. Nothing heard on 15145 around 1450,
but never a good time for Brasil, even 11780 if on. At 1605 into local
``Brasila`` SDR, 11780 booms, but no 6180 or 15145; and 980 is not //.
Stephen Luce replies:
Glenn, regarding RNA on 15145: My first thought was this might be a
reactivation of the transmitter used for DRM tests on 25 meters a few
years ago. I assume that unit is AM compatible. Nothing heard on 15145
at a check of the Brasília and São Paulo Kiwi SDRs around 1400 UT
April 21. RNA heard on 11780 but not 6180. Inconfidência on 6010 and
15190 while RVM is on 5940 and 11750 but missing from 9665. Rádio Nove
de Julho not heard on approx 9819 despite weak display on the
waterfall on the SP SDR. Stephen Luce, Houston, Texas`` (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)
** CANADA. 680, April 21 at 0645 UT, weather low and high temps of 12
& 14, therefore Canadian Celsius, and resume `Ben Mulroney` talk show.
CJOB Winnipeg dominating frequency in 50 kW invasion of American
airspace despite night pattern totally to the NNE in NRC Antenna
Pattern book, or almost totally per radio-locator.com:
https://radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/pat?call=CJOB&service=AM&s=F&h=N
Tough luck for KFEQ, KKYX (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CANADA. 15034 USB, Apr 21 at 2032, CHR Trenton Military finally
almost set its own clock, time as 2030Z instead of more than an hour
slow. Operation seems to be sporadic (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 11760, Apr 21 at 0657, RHC with S9+25 of dead air but with
some clix, just as strong on clickless 9710 DA. Something`s always
wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2343 monitoring: re SW Radio Gold
``dumping off the air at 1929 when WOR was about to play, Andy at the
station replies: ``Twente is NOT a favourite for us. You should check
other SDRs further away. The reason why both signals were suddenly
gone on Twente is the operator PA3FWM changed the antenna. It was
plugged off for some minutes ;-) Cheers, Andy``
Confirmed UT Tuesday April 21 at 0330 on WRMI 7780, S9/+10 into
Georgia SDR.
Also confirmed Tuesday April 21 at 1303 the 1300 on WRMI 9955, JBA
S7/S8.
Not confirmed Tuesday April 21 at 1410 the 1400 on WRMI 9955, NO
signal direct, nor into several SDRs, in Bonaire, FL, MA, GA, TN, so
it`s off the air. Propagation is degraded, but 9395 can still be
detected on some of them. WWV reported at 15, K-index 3.33, after
minor G1 geomag storms. However, WOR *is* on the WRMI stream. Next:

** U S A. 7780, UT Tue Apr 21 at 0300, `Freedom Synergy Radio` opening

stronger 5850 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. Mike Cooper replies about KSKY: ``Regarding your 660, April
20 at 0200, ending `RM World Travel` show: The page you reference at
660amtheanswer.com promotes "Salem News Channel Today" news items. At
the bottom of the page is a link to "Salem Surround," so perhaps Salem
Surround Inc. makes SSI. Page also mentions Salem Interactive Media,
popups refer to Salem Media. No definitive answer here, but I suspect
the first S in SSI stands (or sits) for Salem. mc`` (Glenn Hauser,
WOR)
UNIDENTIFIED. 1450 kHz, April 21 at 0700 UT, ID mentions ``51GY``,
into Fox ``news``. Should be easy to correlate a translator call,
W251GY or K251GY with a 1450 station. That would be on 98.1. Sorting
WTFDA FM DB for any relays of a 1450, no hits. NRC AM Log, visually
searching all ~164 entries on 1450, the only 98.1 hit is a Spanish
station in MA. However, I notice that 1450 KSIW Woodward OK has a
relay on K251CM. Maybe referring to some other Sports Animal outlet in
OK, but still no bingos. I might have misheard the partial xltr call
