by the Guess Who, it was a two fold purpose. First was the fact that
it is Canadian talent. Second, however, was a "nose tweak" to the
bashing that both Europe and Canada get from the occupant of the oval
office in social media posts. A way of saying that Canada stands with

Richards`` on `Cuba Today` about how the US blockade is ultimately
responsable for his internet problems, cant`t get whatsapp to connect

and JBA, frequency still askew. Ron Howard put it on about 7474.86 at

** TURKEY. 7275.018, Apr 26 at 0340, VOT not off the air, but S9+10/30
into UTwente, this final repeat of English, which was missing at 2200
Apr 25 from 11785, and not on 9875 either, the 2030 English frequency
which sometimes stays on past 2200 as operator dozes. But for the rest
of this hour on 7275, nothing but music and promo fillers: 0340
``always-by-your-side``, 0344 TRTVOTVorld.com news, 0347
``with-you-every-hour``. 0353 s/off the 1230 on 17620, but now they
admit that some may be listening to a later repeat, but no details.
0354.7 IS starts, still going at 0358 with IDs in Malay! ``Suara
---``. 0400 timesignal and s/on Malay service, which is supposed to be
on 17720! unchecked, nor do I follow how long the wrong frequency
last.
I first checked at 0340 the other 0300 English frequency, 6165 which
is now for S/SE Asia: much weaker into UTwente, S8/9+5 with RTTYditty
on minus side about 6163, an INTRUDER, utility into broadcast band,
which also bothers 6160 SW Radio Gold, Germany on its other side.
Note: 7275 is also an INTRUDER, into the North American hamband! VOT
could have found a frequency above 7300 which would also be intruding
into a fixed band, but already inhabited by USA broadcast stations, so
must be OK. BTW one reference I cannot find in the final WRTH 2026
book is a table of frequency allocations (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** TURKEY. 11660.003+, Sun Apr 26 at 1639, VOT S9+20/30 into UTwente
as `Letterbox` starts immediately following news. Cemre says it`s a
quiet afternoon, sun is out, and a fresh pot of chai is brewing
somewhere in the building. Last week on 23 April, National Sovereignty
and Children`s Day hosted hundreds of kids at TRT, with balloons,
etc., would make nice QSL design. 1) another child in Spain,
11-year-old and champion of some DX contest, Eric --- in Zaragoza, 2
emails from him, one on Italian, other on German. Wants new QSLs and
also old ones from archive to see designs; and stamps. Again VOT is
quite impressed with this youngster.
2) Mr Miyaki, Hiroshima, Japan, heard Chinese, and is now graduating.
Found 2013 picture of him in TRT archive. 3) Mr. --?, W Bengal, of a
DX club. 4) Mr David Ansell, Sussex, listens on an old FRG. 5)
Siddartha Papajarjee, W Bengal, is World Homeópathy Day celebrated in
Turkey, April 10? apparently not but about homeopathic medicine. 6) Mr
Nakamura, Kyoto, Japan, 55555 SINPO on 9660. 1657 that is all, 1658
``may your batteries never die`` and theme.

area with repetitions; time order would be more user-friendly:
Asia: 6165 at 03, 11660 at 1630, 9875 at 2030.
Iraq/Syria/Jordan/Arabia: 6165 at 03 {what about Israel??}.

storm crashes.

UNIDENTIFIED. 620 kHz, April 26 at 0617 UT, Mexmx and something in
Spanish. Now more of a DXable frequency since the demise of KTNO Plano
TX, ex-KWFT hijacked from Wichita Falls into The Metroplex. NRC AM Log
shows no other Spanish on 620, unless on a couple of unlikely ETH
brokereds. IRCA Mexican log shows four, not all of which confirmed
active, led by XENK CDMX 50/5 kW (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
