Here are some FM DX Catches from the last 2 months or so. Time & dates are
in the Google Drive audio file links below. This isn't everything I've
heard, but my favorites at my QTH in Laramie, WY using a modified Sony XDR
F1HD and 5 element Kathrein Scala YA7
THIS one has to be my favorite! KXLU-FM 88.9 Los Angeles, CA 2900 Watts at
10 feet HAAT. The signal is a bit iffy at times, its real strong though for
the first 40 seconds then picks back up after 5 minutes. Audio:

KNTE-FM 101.7 Bay City, TX with a game between the Houston Astros and
Oakland A's. The band was pretty dead but the MUF suddenly spiked and
produced this. The signal fades out after 30 seconds but comes back at 2
minutes 40 seconds.

WCLQ-FM 89.5 Wausau, WI during local morning show, signal is a bit weak and
fadey at times but it holds for 6-7 minutes. Voiceover guy is Joe Szymanski.

WJJQ-FM 92.5 Tomahawk, WI with live phone call featuring a local realtor.

WLJW-FM 95.9 Fife Lake, MI with legal id/jingle at 1 minute 55 seconds.

WGLQ-FM 97.1 Escanaba, MI with horrible audio. Signal was strong enough for
RDS to show up and stay locked for several minutes. Audio:

WOVM-FM 91.1 Appleton, WI. It actually starts with WOLW Cadillac, MI and
fades into WOVM seamlessly. Audio:

XHHLL-FM 90/7 Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico with music, commercials and La

WTTS-FM 92.3 Indianapolis, IN with Tornado Warning, Tornado spotted on the

WETS-FM 89.5 Johnston City, TN. The band had been up and down this morning
but I'd heard stuff earlier from a bit further north, like Toledo and

KTIM-FM 89.1 La Grange, TX with news and "89-1 K-Time" jingle. Audio:

KUHF-FM 88.7 Houston, TX. Not bad on and off for a bit, but listen closely
after 50 seconds in.. you can hear the HD lock and unlock very briefly a

XEEW-FM 97.7 Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico with local spot and station
