Subject: [bdxc-news] WBCQ back on 3265

WBCQ owner Allan Weiner mentioned last week on Twitter that their 90mb
frequency was back: "3265khz on air 9pm-12 midnight daily with
alternative programming". (i.e. 0100-0400 UTC)

Allan (and Angela) had returned to the WBCQ Monticello, Maine
transmitter site from Florida a couple of weeks ago. And now 3265 seems
to have resumed (after a few months absence?).

Waking last night at 0240 UTC, I checked 3265 - not audible here in
Caversham, but weak and clear via a remote SDR in the USA (St Simons
Island GA) with frequency maybe a little high, around 3265.15? Initially
heard with pop and seemingly not parallel to 5130 or 7490. But checking
after 0300 UTC, it was parallel to much stronger 7490 kHz with
"Shortwave Saturday Night" whose presenter was reading from the book
"Helmut - One Boy's War", followed by a nice selection of really old 78
shellac records with a train theme. This programme was live and
mentioned that a new frequency, 3265, had been added prior to finishing
at 0400 UTC.
