** CHINA. CNR1 jammer survey July 20 at 1424: 13020 S5-S8; 12880
S6-S7; 12835 --- yes, ending in -5 --- S6-S8, not in EiBi or Aoki;
12190 JBA vs CODAR; 13530 S4-S6 vs CODAR; 13870 S5-S8; 13960 JBA
carrier.

Now it`s 1430+: 14980 S5-S7; 14850 JBA carrier (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. Let`s try again on linx to the pirate QSLs: I gave
the wrong URL to my QSL page, should be:
http://www.worldofradio.com/QSL.html

From there you may click on the last two, #94 and #95. Direct link may
also appear broken; it`s asking for trouble to make an URL with blank
spaces in it:
http://www.w4uvh.net/TRSW – TCOTM eQSL – Hauser.jpg
so I have changed that to:
http://www.w4uvh.net/TRSW_TCOTM_eQSL_Hauser.jpg

Here are the complete items reworked:

6935-USB, pirate, Radio Nova sent eQSL without specific request,
having seen my report of it July 19 at 0100; thanks! Says 100 watts,
43-foot vertical antenna; colorful illustration of two terrifying
creatures costumed for some fiesta, #94 at:

http://www.worldofradio.com/QSL.html
http://www.w4uvh.net/RadioNova-QSL20.jpg

with this note:
``Thank you for your reception report, which is much appreciated.
Thanks for tuning in and we hope you enjoyed our “World Music #2”
show, which featured the music of Juaneco y Su Combo from Perú and
Radio Free Honduras. Your eQSL is attached. 73, RADIO NOVA`` (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA [non]. Thanks for eQSL from Texas Radio Shortwave for
6070 broadcast via Channel 292, GERMANY, #95 via:

http://www.worldofradio.com/QSL.html
http://www.w4uvh.net/TRSW_TCOTM_eQSL_Hauser.jpg

with this note:
``Ahoy Matey Glenn – Third Mate Susan said “Until next time, remember
that land was created to provide a place for pirates to visit.”

You heard the inaugural Treasure Chest of Texas Music program and
here’s your limited edition eQSL. Thank you for publicizing our
broadcasts. We hope you’ll tune in again soon.

73 and Arrgghh. Always be yourself. Unless you can be a pirate. Then
always be a pirate. Texas Radio Shortwave

** U S A. 14902-USB, July 20 at 1430, paramilitary net in English, no
doubt CAP as regular at this hour (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 28254.5-CW, July 20 at 1505, VVV VVV DE K4JEE/B ---
WJ5O roster shows:
``28.2545 K4JEE C LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY # 5W, VERTICAL New 6 Nov 11``
Previously logged July 8 and 12 at later hours. Also now an unID W-
call around 28287 --- maybe WB0BIN, Sabin MN, logged a few times on
28286.5. Sporadic E MUF briefly exceeded 90 MHz, mostly below 80 or 70
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2043 monitoring: confirmed Monday
July 20 from 1800.5 on IRRS 7290 Bulgaria, on UTwente SDR Holland, VG
but with usual QRM, splash from Vietnam 7280 and Iran 7300, even with
~6 kHz bandwidth AMsync mode; and the RTTY warble always on 7291. Open
carrier before 1758; cut on unknown rock music a few sex before 1759;
quick IRRS ID just before 1800, and Feature Storry News headlines from
Washington before WOR start. Continued intact past 1810. Next:
0100 UT Tuesday WRMI 7780 to NE
2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW
0100 UT Thursday WRMI 7780 to NE

Thanks this week for financial support from Wayne Davis,
Trenton NJ, for a generous check in US funds on a US bank to
Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702, with this note:

``Please accept this long overdue token of my appreciation for your
decades of enrichment of our radio pursuit``

One may also contribute via PayPal to woradio at yahoo.com
PayPal not necessarily in US funds as they will convert.

** U S A. 1680+, July 20 at 0612 UT, dead air open carrier looping
NE/SW, vs C&W from KRJO Monroe LA to the SE. I figure it`s probably
WPRR Ada MI, which recently went ``off`` the air. I didn`t normally
get WPRR well enough to listen to, KRJO dominant. These make fast SAH
against each other, the NE one on the upper side. MWoffsets shows:

``1680 1680.0106 KRJO (Monroe, LA) [1679.9930-] 24h 2020-02-13
1680 1680.0167 WPRR (Ada, MI) [1680.0137-1680.02] 2019-11-08
unstable, swinging from 1680.018 to 1680.022``

But I would say this time they were at least 20 Hz = .020 apart.

I asked Michiganders about this:

``Hi Harold & Kenneth, Last night at 0612+ UT I had an open carrier on
1680 looping NE/SW, vs Monroe to the SE, and the NE one was slightly
higher in frequency, making fast SAH. I figure it was probably WPRR
transmitter. Could you check out whether it`s on the air with OC?
Glenn``

Kenneth Vito Zichi replies quickly:

``I would guess your assumption about the open carrier is correct.
Jack Amelar in Lowell (near Grand Rapids and in a far better location
to tell than either Harold or I) sent an email on Friday:

"Tonight, 1680 is on with dead carrier. I can barely hear WTTM(p)
under. Tuned into dead carrier at 0015 July 18. At oo26 "Hood" music
pops in, heard an ID 88.? The Ride, back to Hood Music. at 0037 dead
carrier again and still dead at 0140.

13972.7-USB, July 20 at 1431, 2-way in Spanish (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

This report dispatched at 1812 UT July 20
