Hard-Core-DX.com: CRI DRM snippet from the Test KiwiWebSDR on Haida Gwaii

CRI DRM snippet from the Test KiwiWebSDR on Haida Gwaii

Tuesday, November 17 2020

As part of the team of Walter Salmaniw, Nick Hall-Patch
Mike Cherry and yours truly - we are testing a Kiwi WebSDR
on the Haida Gwaii -- Queen Charlotte Islands
with a 750' BOG favoring N.W. for dawn medium wave TP DX,
the radio is at a very quiet location and is particularly favorable for
sleuthing out Trans-Pacifics and shortwave parallels.

For medium wave enthusiasts who are interested in
checking out the radio, please send me a note off list.

The Kiwi is completely stripped down in terms of
extensions as the unit is in complete isolation -- unattended
as it were; meaning no DRM, no WSPR, no Tdoa, nothing
only the basic modes.

Our goal is to see how long a Kiwi will run with zero human contact and
interaction.
