Today is ham radio day and the newscasterin a nationwide radio station remembered those older days on 70s-80s the time…. the medium wave band was filled with numerous home built unofficial radiostations airing music!
She is surely wrong. I sent her a message toshow the ham/radiocaster difference . She apologized saying she didnt know thedifference

Do you know the difference between a music radio caster and ham radio?
What happens in your city? Did any radio station in your area mentioned thisinternational day ? Did they know the purpose of amateur radio?
