Also, what about your 24 hour music stream? Will that continue, with
or without I suppose, WOR. And what is your QSL policy? I could prompt

See USA [and non] WORLD OF RADIO monitoring for the first part of my
report; this time I keep listening to the rest of the broadcast, via
remote in Ireland, antenna ``dipole SW/NE 164 feet``.
1400:15 WMRI Europe ID, as via Rohrbach, Germany, ``making shortwave
great again``, music; 1425 drops to dead air, ACI from 9675. Not until
1444.4 does music chop back on, but keeps going off and on again. 1445
announcement as Animals tune, cuts out. 1452.5 rock music on until
1453.6 dead air again past 1500. Website supposedly displays current
music as ``71-238 The Doors``. 1503 cuts on classic rock with
``Gloria``; sked at 15-16 is ``Mario Marconi``. 1510.5 DA, 1512 music;
recheck 1541 music; 1542 Mario Marconi says ``back next Sunday at 12
UTC``. 1554 sign-off ``until next Sunday``, tune loops, from MASH?
until 1600 right into `Encore` from Radio Tumbril, which I already
heard better last night at 0100 on WRMI.
It seems that WOR is the only spoken-word program on WMRI Europe. No
dead-air interruptions were heard after I tuned in and can only hope
there were not before. Unfortunate that the final transmission was so
interrupted. Can`t tell where the problem was, from HQ somewhere in
UK, on the way to Germany, or at Ch 292; but not the remote receiver
which kept getting the signal whether modulated or not. We look
forward to WMRI`s return next year (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** MADAGASCAR [and non]. 17790, Aug 14 at 0623, gospel music at S9/+20
direct, the SSOB by far, as nightmiddle propagation continues on this
hiband, then French signoff by RMA = AWR, with address in Côte
d`Ivoire, and off by 0630. Aimed at W Africa, thUSward beyond.
17530.025, Aug 14 past 0634 now becomes the SSOB, BBC English and
always off-frequency, scheduled 0600-0800. Also several more JBA
carriers on this band. I also scan 21 MHz band just in case but no
carriers there, not even JBAs (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** UKRAINE [non]. (7730), Aug 14 at 0500-0507, UR1 via WRMI
immediately into English `Ukraine: Security Issue` with its
ever-dramatic music also bedding thruout with fadeup transitions; for
Aug 13, day 171 of Putin`s war, S9 into Maryland SDR, this time by
heavily-accented YL who also speaks too fast to follow very well,
including: frontline stretches 2500 km; 193 somethings in past 24
hours; Ukraine destroys occupier`s logistic centers; Russians
destroyed thousands of homes and apartment houses (Glenn Hauser, OK,

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2151 monitoring: confirmed UT
Sunday August 14 at 0030 on WRMI 7780, S9/+12 into Maryland SDR.
Also confirmed UT Sunday August 14 at 0325 on WA0RCR, 1860 AM, MO,
S9+15 but noisy into nearby SDR, about 7 minutes into so started circa
0318.
As usual, no signal direct to OK at this hour on 9670, but: Also
confirmed Sunday August 14 from 1354 tune-in until 1400:15 on WMRI
Europe via Channel 292, Germany, 9670, so started slightly late at
1331:15; S7/S5 into NW Ireland SDR with considerable local line noise.
After this, WMRI is suspended, maybe resuming in January: see GERMANY

** U S A. 15770, Aug 14 at 0320, surprised to find this WRMI daytime
frequency on air in the night, as I bring up the Missouri remote to
check WOR, which was last tuned to 15770 for checking after 1930. To
be sure it`s not an SDR anomaly, I find the same into Maryland remote
at S6/S7. Soon obvious it`s TOMBS, // 5850 et al.; 0335 kids singing,
then Alex Scourby, Bibling as if it were incontrovertible.
WRMI skedgrid shows 15770 only at 11-24 UT. Forgot to turn off #9
transmitter? Or maybe a propagation test? Hardly anything else on 19m
at this hour. I keep checking, still at 0422, 0457 S7/S9 gospel music,
but by 0507 dead air, carrier still on, S9/+10 into Maryland. Direct
at 0628+ it`s a JBA carrier still2 on. What gives? (Glenn Hauser, OK,

** VANUATU. 11835, Aug 14 at 0621, quick bedtime check confirms RV
still thirdharmonicizing JBA. On Aug 5, Walt Salmaniw with his super
setup on Haida Gwaii was able to hear the fourth harmonic on 15780,
but not the fifth on 19725 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
