fiesta `tomorrow`; 1530 about folklore and 1536 el costumbre argentino
de fútbol; same stuff heard on Wed Nov 9; 1553 ``nos une`` ID; 1556
about Córdoba province; 1600 music; 1603 ID with ``Nacional, la radio
pública``; 1617 again about the fiesta, will report about it next
week; 1618 song; 1622 ID with staff names, which funxions as s/on/off
without any explicity, a bit more music to 1623* (Glenn Hauser, OK,

** BRAZIL. 5938.313, Nov 12 at 0726, Brazuguese, R. Voz Missionária
facilitated by a weakened 5935 WWCR as ``skip is long``. So I measure
their other frequency too and find it unstable, varying audibly circa
9664.03, S7/S9 just as at 0731 ID for ``5940`` with its power.

** CUBA. 11880, Nov 12 at 2230, no signal from RHC where English used
to be, nor found anywhere else in scans of all bands.
11850, Nov 12 at 2242, S7/S9 of dead air except for some hum, maybe
trace of modulation, usual for this RHC Spanish frequency.
13608 approx., Nov 12 at 2235, extremely distorted RHC Spanish
wideband spurblob, FMish with F# tone. Then I look for others: 13673,
S9+12; 13808-13811, 13887 weak. Source has to be only active AM
transmitter on band, 13740, which is clear at S9+20. Displacement
range is 67-73 kHz and multiples. Somethings` always wrong at RHC

** KOREA SOUTH [non]. 9870, Nov 12 at 0735 expressive M&M conversation
in Korean, so informal it could not possibly be from the North: yes,
it`s KBSWR at 07-08 via Woofferton UK. Caught one English word go by,

** MALDIVES [non]. This explains my hearing Chinese on 11620 a while
ago at 1500+ -- mixed up with their simulservice on 7630, likely same
secret site. Nothing is listed anywhere near 7630.

contradictory info. This also calls into question what happen 24 hours
later on Sunday; and for the other listed airing which was at 1230 UT

response to my numerous non-logs of SuperStition 9330 -- problem seems
to be computer control which could not bring up the high voltage.
Rails against c.c. of transmitters rather than traditional analog
electro/mechanical operation. Unfortunately, AW has moved his show one
hour later so it conflicts with WOR already at 0130 on WRMI 5850 &

** U S A. 12160, Sat Nov 12 at 1800, WWCR with `Talking [sic] Machine
Show`, mostly ancient cylinder-recorded music. One episode starts,
then cut to a different episode restart. New sked dated Nov 6 still
shows this the only airtime on the 4 transmitters available 24/7.
Surely could be fit in as filler elsewhen. One of few shows ever worth
hearing on WWCR, and certainly the only one of their own produxions.
