But RNASG had been on just before and crashed, as Gary tells me, ``LRA
36 prelog music just before 1500. Hi Glenn, after initial sign on, the
usual abrupt cut off at 1507. They will probably be back, I guess.``
Anyhow, it would have been replay of what we already heard on
Wednesday Nov 16. ``No, they never came back. After the pre music
finished, then an OM gave the first LRA36 ID, then abruptly went off

Nothing else audible on 9/kHz splits in quick scan, not even 1017 or
1098 Pacificans. The previous night, Nov 18, Gary Pence told me:

gone; but there is one on 1440 kHz on AI6VN/KH6 in Maui and there is
way too much local QRM to receive. It`s on NH6XO site [Oahu]. Maybe

November 19 at 0152 the 0130 on WRMI 5850, VG direct, S9/+20 into KFS
omni remote. But not even a JBA carrier from 15770 direct, nor into
MD, MO or CA remotes, so off or unpropagable. Nor 7730 which it
replaced, only channel still missing since hurricane Ian.
Also confirmed UT Saturday November 19 at 0500 on WBCQ Radio Angela,
5130 minus 13 Hz = 5129.987, at first via Maryland remote unusually
JBA, S1/S2. At 0506, better S4/S7 into New Hampshire remote which one
would have suspected too close to Monticello, where the precise
measurement was made. Both with intermittent QRM from 2-way in Spanish
on 5132 USB, not LSB.
Also confirmed Saturday November 19 at 1700 on WRN N America stream.

president of WTWW, on the phone. He has inspected the facility further
and concluded that the transmitters are in such bad shape that they
cannot be put back on air at anywhere near full power without a lot of
replacement parts which are harder and harder to find. So now
permanently off the air, and officially for sale, price to be

** U S A. 7490-, UT Sat Nov 19 from 0100, WBCQ direct for `AAAWWW`,
but instead of theme, starts with intros to two OTR shows: Lux Radio
Theatre, and Father Knows Best! 0102 finally `William Tell Overture`
theme and AAAWWW. AW later admits he screwed up. Usual opening fawning
over how beautiful he thinx his wife is. The are in Deland of Fla
where it`s wintry at 60 degrees.
Shortly 0106 phone call from William Levi who is from South Sudan,
discussing his plans for a new SW missionary station. He has visited
Monticello. US HQ are in western Massachusetts. They had an FM station
2003-2008 in the war zone; not clear if still on now, but want to go
on SW for better coverage, from family property, with a 300` tower for
a non-direxional monopole antenna, 2000 km range, 10 kW transmitter
powered by 40 solar panels, as there is no grid power; or maybe wind
turbines. Frequency to be 11950 kHz, ``Nehemiah Trumpet Call shortwave
station``. A Christian firm in S Korea is providing transmitter and

** U S A. Re my 640 kHz BIN log, Greg Hardison explains the strange
addresses: ``"...Benton TN for WBIN, Ada MI for WMFN..." WBIN was the
call sign for a former Benton, TN facility on 1540, which remanded its
license back to the FCC a few years ago; Radio-Locator.com has yet to
catch up to this. The modern WBIN/640 is the former WGST, which I'd
bet is still control-roomed from iHeart's Atlanta digs, somewhere on
Peachtree near Piedmont Hospital. Ada, I believe, is the original home
of WMFN?/640, which was moved to the flats between Chicago and
Kankakee, determined to be a better location for serving Chicagoland
whilst a "full" 30 kHz away from WSCR/670. And there again, R-L drags
