it. Did not try to detect and reconfirm at least a much-reduced
carrier. Too much else going on now, so only occasional chex: 1842,
``comunicad`` contact info, 1843 acknowledging report de México. 1918
outro ``Noticias Australes``. 1949 brief mention of ``despedida`` and
off way early, no signal on further random chex -- until 2106, now
it`s back on, talk over musical background; still at 2120. Not checked

tip from Walt Salmaniw on the WOR iog that MRI is here, i.e. Mix Radio
International. I`m getting it direct at S6, presumably sporadic E from
the Chicago area, but listen further for convenience via Alberta SDR
where Don Moman is also hearing it. Lots of heavily produced
promos/IDs, but I wish they would Mix in some other music genres like
world, folk or classical. 1857, ``Mix Radio International Worldwide``,
then played newer version of ``Venus``, then ``Eternal Flame`` by
Bangles. 1904 ID ``Broadcasting from the United States of America...``
1934 ``Best of shortwave radio, Mix Radio International``. Still going
at 2042, 2106, 2120 chex. Not checked again until 2316 direct,

labeling of times as UTC but they are really local UT+3; at least this
5960 gets mentioned as ``02-03 UTC``; this is by the otherwise
well-spoken YL, not the badax. Then IS for a while and chopoff* before
2356 when it would have restarted with German IDs; something`s always

S7/S8. Then into UTwente, European target area, it`s only S7/S5. But
Maine SDR on the way has it well, S9+20/15. Alberta SDR at 1641
getting it sufficiently, S6/S8, even tho off the side of NE beam, so
this should be usable in much of North America beyond the skip zone. I
kept it running at least in background to be sure there were no
further breaks.
