** CUBA. 12000, Feb 24 at 0653, RHC English JBA on 2 x 6000, where
it`s S9+20/30 undermodulated. Correlating nicely with good 12 MHz prop
from Cuba: pulse jamming on 12060, S3/S4, 2 x 6030 against Martí but
no trace of victim here; also jam on 11930, see ROMANIA (Glenn Hauser,

** DENMARK. 25800, Feb 24 at 1619, JBA carrier, presumed World Music
Radio. I always check for this direct along with 25900 BBC WOF after
1600, but first time have had any trace; supposedly sked 24/7. BBC no
stronger than usual. Still no trace of also 24/7 WMR on 15700, from

estimated 15710.1; 1625, S9+5/15 into UTwente when measured; it`s ISS
with Sat-only broadcast at 1600 of RMI-brokered Moresh Voice of
Amhara, clandestine for Ethiopia in Amharic; chopoff in progress at

than last night, S6/S2 and now bothered by extraneous Cuban jamming
against no Martí. Std remark about never picking a frequency *ever*

programs! 2328 outro segment as `Turkey`s Geomarked [sic] Products`,
``with-you-every-hour`` promo, mostly music, 2348 again ``w-y-e-h``.
2353 s/off as if the 1330 broadcast only, and IS. 2356 pause and
restart IS now with German IDs. 0000 Feb 25 still on with TS a few sex
behind understation XJRTV and then the ChiCom anthem, into German
programming, yet another overrun instance by erroneous Emirler. Still

datestamp heard even during ID break at 0138 when it seemed he was
about to. From Fla, mentioning something in early March. Topix include
global warming, EV batteries, not knowing how to operate cars with
standard shifts. Says has a 100 kW rig in storage; BCQ will always
remain as analog as possible, still operable in disaster (Glenn

** U S A. 5085, UT Feb 24 at 0131 and any other times checked, still
no signal from WTWW-2. Just as I was starting to write this item,
George McClintock called with an update. Has been off the air because
Ted had wired the tuning mechanism backwards; when trying to tune
beyond mid-range, it broke. Will try to tune manually, maybe back on
air tonight. Continental guy has been working on #1 transmitter; says
it is not just repairing but restoring, as *everything* was wrong tnx
to Ted. The Harris #3 transmitter is also being worked on. WORLD OF
RADIO already started airing a week or two ago but at unscheduled
time. Maybe now at 0500 UT, Saturday or Sunday? (Glenn

UNIDENTIFIED. Trans-Atlantic JBA MW carrier search, Feb 24 at
0217-0228: 531?, 684, 693, 774-2, 855-2, 909, 1044, 1053-2, 1089,
1107, 1125, 1314-2. Not a -1 kHz USB offset complete scan, but
one-by-one. -2 means two carriers beating, a common situation from
Spain on 774, 855; one is slow, the other faster. 1314 is unusual;
both Spain and Romania have three medium-powers each (Glenn Hauser,
