Forgot about a page of the most recent loggings:
MYANMAR 5985.85 Radio Myanmar has a rather strong carrier at 1440 when it
is scheduled in English, but the audio was too weak to be
certain. (Salmaniw, 22 April).
INDIA 13710 Great signals from All India Radio, in English with their
General Overseas Service at 1453, with end of broadcast items, and
schedule, then dead air, and into AIR English news at 1455 until 1459:30
when they went off the air, "until 2245". 13710 is excellent, parallels
11620 (good), and 9710 (fair). (Salmaniw, 22 April).
RUSSIA 12045 Radiostantsiya Chechnya Svobodnaya has a nice clear strong
ID at 1500, but joined within a few seconds by a cochannel. (Salmaniw, 22
April).
MONGOLIA 12085 Very good reception for two consecutive days with English
at 12085.0 Couldn't find any parallels. Interesting program about
monuments in Mongolia at 1526 including one to a marmot, and another
depicting male genitalia! Same female announcer, who must compromise 100%
of the personnel of the English service! (Salmaniw, 22 and 23 April).
SAUDI ARABIA 21600 BSKSA presumed with French programming from 1545
tune-in until 1555 when obliterated by interval signal from WYFR at
1555. Sched sign-off is 1600. (Salmaniw, 22 April).
UNIDENTIFIED 8725 Unknown station in AM with continuous playing of Ode to
Joy from tune in at 1524. Good reception. Thanks to Gregory Mengell in CA
for the tip, who hears it from 0800 tune-in until 1900
fade/out. Presumably located in the Far East, I assume this is a spy
numbers station without the numbers. (Salmaniw, 23 April).
That's all for now, folks!~
............Walt.
