 ** U S A. 7490-, Sept 6 at 0000 UT, WBCQ announces following `AAAWWW`originally aired July 18, 2025: never mind, I already reported on that
one at the time. 6160- and 5130- are also on, apparently different
programs, 5130 with WLCR instead of silenced 9330 (Glenn Hauser, OK,
 WOR)
** U S A. 5130-, Sept 6 at 0615, this WBCQ not on the air directinstead of WLC Radio which was there earlier instead of 9330. At 1535

our newly constructed laser light transmission system. Using six high
power lasers covering the visible light bands from deep red to ultra
violet, all super modulated by the audio from our programming 24 hours
a day beamed directly into outer space for reception by whoever is up
there. We are the only radio broadcast station in our world doing
this. All groundbreaking in the world of broadcasting. All for the
unique nature of laser communications and experimental outreach. Buy
time with us, it's literally out of this world!`` (Glenn Hauser, OK,

 ** U S A. WRMI skedgrid updated Sept 3 suddenly loses `ClassicalRedneck Radio` -- good riddance! I was wondering how this obscure
``ministry`` could afford all the $ $ $ that TOMBS used to spend - and
System E is now labeled World Radio Network! Tremendous improvement in
programming, relay of (ex)-SW stations from around the world, but I`m
sure it`s merely filler until RMI can get some more paying
customer(s), so enjoy it while you can. For exact schedule you have to
consult WRN website, presumably N American stream:
https://www.encompass.tv/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Encompass_WRN_English_For_North-America_A25.pdfBut not filling all the previous TOMBS/CRR hours: now there is quite a
lot more white space on the grid, e.g. less overnighting. At 0618 Sept
5, 5850 is on but no longer 5800 nor 5950, and no 9955 nor 9455, while
9395 remains with SMTV. But 7570, 7730 and 7780 are all on (Glenn
 Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 9330, Sept 5 at 0613, no signal from World`s Last ChanceRadio on the WBCQ Super-Stition, apparently really off rather
than unpropped. Out of order? BCQ has made an emergency substitution
on its itty-bitty ``classic`` transmitters still available and mostly
unused, probably 24h like 9330 was: Sept 5 at 0620 I find it JBA on
6159.93, typical offfrequenciness. And at 0626 also on 5129.9 at S9+20
// 6160- but 3265 is still silent. Then in daytime Sept 5 at 1434,
WLCR still absent from 9330 direct, so at 1447 I try the NH remote,
and there they are: slightly out of calibration but obviously both
 still offset-minus as required at WBCQ: 6160- S9 // 5130- S7 with WLCR
haughty Britaccent, and canned ID at 1500 still claiming to be on 9330
 - what do they know? Beyond the Earth being Flat? (Glenn Hauser, OK,
 WOR)
** U S A. 9930, Sept 5 at 1435, WTWW with TOMBS, S9+25/40 direct, fairly clean signal, but detectable JBA carrier parasitic spurs on
9917.2 and 9942.8, characteristic of this particular transmitter, also
accompanying 5085 at 12.8 kHz above and below (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. Heavy area tropo inbrings the usual Tulsa market V/UHF DTVchannels, some Good, more Bad, and an RF9 of which there are zero of
any power in OK - tough luck, KWTV. Otherwise the closest 9 is KAFT
Fayetteville AR, seems kidvid, UT Sept 5 at 0310, and fade-in again
 around 0400 breaking up/in but enough to make out the AR {PBS icon}
PBS bug in LR, virtual 13. My STB may have remembered one of their
subchannels rather than main PBS, like KAFT-3 as in rabbitears, but is
no longer known as Arkansas ETN, rather AR PBS. RF9 site is SSE of
Fayetteville on the way to Ozark, at Sunset in the Boston Mountains,
so should also get into Fort Smith.
Best sigs from Tulsa area, KQCW ``19`` RF 20, and KMYT ``My 41`` RF34. My rooftop antenna remains pointed SE to get a bit more from E/OK
and less from OKC to the SSE (Glenn Hauser, Enid OK, WOR)
This report dispatched at 2136 UT September 5
** VANUATU. 9960, Sept 5 at 0615, R. Vanuatu remains here instead of
 7260 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
UNIDENTIFIED. 7235, not relogged lately, but still JBA carrierreliably, S7 = noise level, Sept 5 at 0616. Unknown broadcaster or
 ham? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

											| ** CANADA. 990, Sept 4 at 0657 UT, ``Asian news from NHK World`` must
be segment on CBC via CBW Winnipeg (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA [and non]. RHC coming back on more and more frequencies, UTSept 4 observations into Georgia SDR: 9710 at 0217 English S7/S9 but
severely breaking up, which never clears up later; sounds much
 stronger than // 6000 S7/S9 but not breaking up. At 0220, 9710 S9+25
breaking up, 6000 OK but a bit distorted, S9+40.
At 0453, 6000 VG S9+20/30, good mod; 9710 S9+10/20 breaking up and nowatop some CCI, which would be VATICAN in Ukrainian/Russian at
0440-0500-0520 daily. Same breakup into Maryland SDR, so a
transmission, not reception problem. 9710 much stronger than 6000.
At 0619, 9710 still on breaking up in English, 6000 off. At 0635, 9710 S9+10 direct, still on in English breaking up. Notchecked further tonight.
 At 1417 Sept 4: 15140, S4 direct, music, Spanish; // 13780 S5, 15230JBA, 11760 S6/7. That`s at least 4 = *four* transmitters at once! if
15230 really RHC, nothing else listed.
At 1448, 11760 off, 13780 JBA carrier, 15140 off, 15230 JBA carrier. At 1454, 11760 only still on in Spanish. At 1903 check, 15140 again with RHC English, S8/S9 direct butundermodulated.
Another report, in the British DX Club: ``Radio Havana Cuba heard inEnglish on 6000 kHz this morning from 0415 tune-in until transmitter
closed at 0600 UT. Good readable signal but slight hum.
It was parallel 9710 kHz which suffered some slight audio break-up butwas still very readable. But 9710 also had co-channel interference
here from Vatican Radio from 0439 to 0520 (in Ukrainian then
Russian?). (9710 was still on air a little after 6000 closed at 0600
 but unsure when 9710 closed.)
1st hour of programmes repeated from 0457. So included the 'MailbagShow' with Ed Newman and listener letters at 0432 and again at 0532.
73 Alan Pennington, Caversham, UK`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLDOF RADIO 2311)
** U S A. 8992 USB, Sept 4 at 1455, US military fonetik crypto messageexercise, interrupted by ``stand by`` and noise bursts. WMIIRE is the
identifier which then starts entire message:
WMIIRELEUHEDJIAH7ZQG5?YNGYWIP3 to 1457, repeated, ``This is Young Boy,
out`` to 1458. The ? one letter missing due only to my undecipherable
 scribble.
15016 USB, Sept 4 to 1902* caught tail of another of these, afterfirst finding it JBA on 8992 USB (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2310 monitoring: ``MW propagationwas quite disturbed last night [Tue Sept 2] when I monitored between
 2300-2400. Trans-Atlantic DX was poor & noisy under sub-auroral

reception of IRRS Italy on 1323 kHz was as good as I’ve ever heard it
