576 AUSTRALIA. 1340-1345, 2RN Sydney. Presumed this one Sept. 22 with light
pop mx and Aussie accented male ancr. Good.

594 JAPAN. 1346, JOAK on Sept. 23 with strong signal and JJ tk., parallel
1071. Mixing with pres. 3WV Horsham (EG tk).

612 AUSTRALIA. 1410-1416, 4QR Brisbane. Excellent level Sept. 22 with
discussion of President Clinton's credibility gap.

702 AUSTRALIA. 1417-1420, 2BL Sydney. Tk on US political situation by two
ancrs., parallel to 612. Very strong on Sept. 22.

774 AUSTRALIA. 1142, 3LO Melbourne Sept. 24 with Aussie-accent man and woman
discussing Olympics. Fair.

792 AUSTRALIA. 1345-1405, 4RN Brisbane on Sept. 24 providing excellent,
local-level signal! Aussie folk and C&W music... very enjoyable in Synchro
AM mode and full bandwidth on receiver! Male ancr with interesting history
of musicians. "Radio National" ABC ID at 1400 and into ABC nx.

864 UNIDENTIFIED. 1403, unid. station Sept. 24 with light JJ mx; poor-fair
with fades into noise level.

873 JAPAN. 1353, JOGB Kumamoto, good level Sept. 23 with EG lesson by man &
woman, discussing fashion fads and sexual harrassment on the job in the USA.

891 AUSTRALIA. 1407, probable 5AN Adelaide on Sept. 24 with a strong signal
of two men in discussion of New Age religious issues.

927 AUSTRALIA. 1412-1415, 4CC Gladstone. Station promo of rock mx clips and
4CC ID at 1413. Mentions of Gladstone by woman ancr.; good signal with weak
unid. stn. beneath.

936 AUSTRALIA. 1415-1420, possible 4PB Brisbane with discussion of Olympic
issues by male ancr. on Sept. 24. Fair level; unid. station co-channel.

954 JAPAN. 1153, JOKR Tokyo on Sept. 24 with JJ mx and two ancrs. Fair
signal.

990 JAPAN. 1401, JORK Kochi, presumed this Sept. 23 with JJ tk, beneath USA
news station. Fair.

1008 JAPAN. 1423, JONR Osaka, Good reception Sept. 23 with man and woman in
JJ.

parallel 612 and 702. Good signal on Sept. 22.

1071 JAPAN. 1343, presumed JOFK Hiroshima and an unid. station mixing at
fair levels on Sept. 23.

1134 JAPAN. 1335, JOQR, rapid-fire tk in JJ by man & woman; SFX at 1337
followed by possible promo. Equal signal on NW Beverage and K9AY; good to
very good signal Sept. 23.

1206 SOUTH KOREA. 1158, Unidentified Korean Sept. 24 playing nice classical
mx to 1159 pres. KBS ID in KK. HLSW or HLQR? Good signal.

1314 UNIDENTIFIED. 1205, unid. JJ and Aussie EG tk, mixing at poor levels
with fading on Sept. 24.

1386 JAPAN. 1208, unknown JJ station here with good signal Sept. 24; JJ tk
and JJ pop mx.

1413 JAPAN. 1209-1212, JOIF, jazz instrumental mx Sept. 24 poor level; then
fade-up with man & woman tk in JJ. Unid. station also on frequency.

1503 UNIDENTIFIED. 1155, poor signal Sept. 22 on north-northwestern Beverage
with discussion in unid. lang.

1503 JAPAN/KOREA. 1215, JOUK and HLSK at equal levels Sept. 24 with excited
sports ancr on JOUK and KK tk and mx on HLSK. Good reception.

1566 SOUTH KOREA. 1340-1342, HLAZ Chenju. Christian traditional hymns Sept.
23 and male tk in KK. Fair signal with some fading.

1593 JAPAN. 1205, JOOB Niigata or JOTB Matsue with lively tk in JJ Sept. 23.
Poor-fair signal.

1701 AUSTRALIA. 1220-1233, two Aussies mixing here Sept. 24. Hindi mx
(2NTC?) dominant and good level at times; C&W and blues music with EG ancr
in background (R. 1701?).
