[HCDX] Logs and QSLs from NH-USA, week ending August 28



3315, INDIA, AIR Bhopal, *0023-0045, August 26, Hindi,
IS, ID, choral music (NA?) followed by brief talks by
OM and Hindi music. Talks by YL back to OM at 0035,
music. Poor under static. // 4880 Lucknow at s/on,
soon overtaken by numbers stations. Also // 4910
Jaipur, weak under static. (Barbour-NH)

3375, BRASIL, R.Nacional (tentative), 0942-1000,
August 27, Portuguese, OM w/ presumed promos w/
snippets of Beethoven's 5th, music at 0945 w/ crowing
rooster, tentative "Radio Nacional" ID before ballad
at 0952. Fair at t/in, unusable by top-of-hour.

3385, PNG-NEW BRITAIN, R. East New Britain, 1001-1032,
August 27, Pidgin?, OM w/ presumed news in // w/ 4890
until 1010. Musical bridges w/ brief talks, talks b/w
2 OM, breif choral music at 1023 then talks thru
bottom-of-hour as signal faded out. Poor/fair at best.

4840, INDIA, AIR Mumbai, *2353-0000, August 26, Hindi,
IS, ID, choral music (NA?) followed by brief talks by
OM and Hindi music. Quickly becoming 
unusable. Poor/weak. (Barbour-NH)

4950, ANGOLAM, R.Nacional, 2308-2332, August 27,
Portuguese, OM w/ news, field report from various
reporters. Music bridge/ ID at 2317 followed by
festive music program. Fair at t/in, gradually
becoming weaker/noisier by t/out. (Barbour-NH)

6025, HUNGARY, R.Budapest, 2124-2128, August 27,
English, Came across the DX program, "DX Corner" while
bandscanning, with news re Radio Maria, Church of
Ireland, RFE/RL and R.Free Iraq and VO Mongolia
schedule and postal address. ID/IS loop at 2128. Poor,
best using USB. (Barbour-NH)

15476, ANTARCTICA, LRA36-R.Nacional, 2047-2100, August
27, Spanish, YL w/ talks, reggae music and pop ballad
w/ quick "Radio Nacional" ID in the middle of the
ballad. (There was something mentioned before RN that
may or may not have been the call sign LRA36, but I'm
not positive as the ID caught me off guard!) More
music and YL until crushed by Chile-15475 s/on at
2100. Fair, surprisingly decent signal. 2nd time
logged this month! (Barbour-NH)

Tomb" cd w/ site via New Delhi in 79 days for an EG
report and 1 IRC direct to the station. V/S, Y.K.
