Hi Patrick and Bjarne!
Bjarne is "The World's Northernmost DX-er" and
perhaps I´m the only DXer living on the equator.
I bought the Drake SPR-4 when it was new but I
don´t remember having audio problems. I now have
two receivers: Ten Tec RX 350D and NRD 535. NRD
535 has not the best sound in the world buut my
MFJ-616 "Speech Intelligibility Enhancer" is very
useful to make the audio better. You can find
