[HCDX] captación trans-Atlantica y aliñación / VERY threshold TA DX (!!!!) + Alignement probs

The past night, since only 3 or 4 of the most powerful Cubans (Rebelde-670, Progreso-890,...) were audible as far as foreign DX (from the south) is concerned, I tried to tune, using my Sangean 818ACS, to TA DX. I put on 1134 and with BOTH the AM wide mode and the narrow mode, there was a very threshold signal of a woman talking, although it was better received on 1135 kHz AM WIDE or 1134 kHz AM Narrow, in order to avoid the moderate 1130 domestic QRM. Since WBBR-1130 was easily nulled out (my Sanyo is more sensitive, but a bit LESS SELECTIF), I could perphaps have got something better on my main AM-DX rig. In any event, retuned to residual weak WBBR/WDFN-1130 and it was NOT in //. It was right on 1134, although it was also heard on 1135 in AM WIDE mode. Could have been Spain which I tentatively caught here once, but I MOSTLY suspect Hrvatski Radio which was very regular the past season, almost as regular as Madrid-585.

Why I haven't used the Sanyo MCD-S830 in order to catch up the 1134 TA signal ? Well, a pretty sad story, it still works, but not too well. In fact, this trusty radio NEEDS ALIGNEMENT. When I tune up the dial, I get static-like scratches and I may loose everything on the dial and get to hear silence for a few seconds, then the AM dial is back and sometimes the signal is in the wrong place. It's like that since many years, except, over the months, it gets more and more severe. I have this radio since 1997 when I used for local and short-skip Radio Disney (which sounds way too commercial now for me) listening (I didn't know I could get shortwave-like distances on MW then), as well as tapes listening/rec. I have used it intensively for MW DX, especially for LA and YV stuff, since 2000. The problems appeared since 2001 and tend to get either better or worse, depending on how carefull I am. I must admit that I have used it quite a lot in order to encode real-audio files, because it's great sound makes it ideal for this purpose. However, when I put it to face the sky (and the iono') and I changed its place, it was a bit better, but still fragile quite a lot. Any ideas ?

On the other hand, without changing the stations too fast, it should still be very usable. I need to use something else for encoding. I have one important task as an encoder. Transfer airchecks of Radio Show 106.5 (a pirate station in Paris during the 80s) that came from a web-site which dissapeared from real-audio to tape. If I can transfer radio, tapes and CD content from the source to multimedia files, why I wouldn't be able to do the reverse ?

La pasada noche, alrededor de las 0230 Tiempo Universal, como me aburré de escuchar las mismas emisoras extrangerras de corte cubano hacia el sur (Rebelde-670, Progreso-890,...) y como hay un pequeño problema con mi Sanyo MCD-S830, mi mejor receptor par el DX por onda media, tomé la decisión de utilizar mi Sangean 818ACS para veriguar si estoy capaz de captar algo desde Europa en el dial AM. Yo sintonizé 1134 en la posición para reducir el señal de Nueva York en la frecuencia más cercana y escuché, a un nivel MUY débil, una locutora feminina. ESO NO fue en // con 1130. La mejor recepción, la conseguio en 1135 kHz con el filtro AM largo (AM Wide) o por 1134 kHz con el filtro AM bajo (AM Narrow). Esoy casi-seguro que se trata de Hrvatski Radio, Zadar, Croacia con 600 kW, aunque el repetidor de la cadena castellana COPE con 50 kW podría ser escuchada también. Como fui capaz de reducir sin problemas el señal bastante poderoso de WBBR "Bloomberg News Radio" (1130 kHz, Nueva York, 50 kW, 600 kilometros hacia el sur), podría tener mejor suerte para escuchar este señal trans-atlantico con mi Sanyo MCD-S830. ¡ Mi Sanyo es un poco menos selectivo que mi Sangean 818ACS, pero la sensibilidad está de MUCHO mejor ! Como en muchos momentos, voy a reducir Nueva York sin problemas y HAY señales MUY débiles en los 1140 kHz, estoy capaz de sintonizar los 1134 kHz sin muchos problemas. Desaforunadamente, hay problemas bastante preocupantes cuando estoy cambiando las estaciones desde la parte baja de la banda hacia la parte alta de la banda. Puede oír un ruido de tipo QRN, en algún momentos, despues del ruido, no voy a escuchar nada por algunas segundas y despues el contacto con el dial AM o FM va a volver de nuevo posible, pero con problemas. Cuando esoy cambiando desde la parta alta del dial hacia la parte baja de la banda, no hay problemas. Pienso que el radio dabe ser aliñado de nuevo. Estoy utilizando el Sanyo MCD-S830 desde 1997. En el comenzamiento, le utilizé para escuchar las señales poderosos de AM, FM, para grabar emisoras principalmente montrealesés y para escuchar discos compactos (aunque antes 2002, mi collección de CDs fue muy pequeña). Despues del otoño 2000, empiezé a DXisar con mucho interés la banda AM y un poco de DXismo tropo y la E sobre la FM también. Otro que el DXismo, y la música, utilizo este radio para crear ficheros multimedias y como el sonido de mi Sanyo eres estupendo, está igualmente perfecto para eso. Pero, cuando estoy cambiando el sitio de este sistema portatil, el problema de aliñación puede volver peor. Cada 5 o 6 años, se debe de aliñar los radios. Otramente, hay problemas. El problema con la aliñación de mi Sanyo MCD-S830 existe desde 2001. En algún momentos, se vuelve mejor o peor. Cuando estoy caminando mucho con el radio, generalmente, se vuelve peor. Le ponio de una manera más poderosa de nuevo sobre el armario y cambio su dirección. El problema despareció un poco, pero el radio tiene una fragilidad bastante ¡¡¡¡ preocupante !!!!.

Afortunadamente, que, cuando hay mucho tiempo que ne le utilizé, el problema de aliñación de mi Sanyo MCD-S830 no está tan peor.

Ahora necesito hallar algo otro para hacer ficheros con mis grabaciones o el opuesto también. Tengo ficheros viejo de una emisora pirata francesa y, como el sitio web de donde descargué esos ficheros no funciona, debo enviarle a alguién en Francia interesado a esos. Como puedo hacer grabaciones multimedia desde mis casetes, discos o de la radio, el opuesto podría ser posible también -> de poner un fichero multimedia sobre casete, con el sistema Hi-Fi concectado al centro del sonido del computador.

Bueno, espero que el problema no está tan peor que me parece ya...
