[HCDX] Logs for Al Muick 09 December
QTH: Kabul, Afghanistan
RX: WinRadio G303e
ANT: 200m Longwire/Randomwire
ACC: Palstar MW-550P Mediumwave Preselector
252 TAJIKISTAN, Tajik R. heard at 1842 on 09 Dec w/ OM/YL alternating
Tajik talk and several station IDs, local mx. Consistent strong signal as
one might expect from longwave. Very slight fade. WRTH lists as 150 kW
621 EGYPT, ERTU V.o. the Arabs, heard at 1915 in AR w/ OM/YL in a sort
of radio play interspersed with beat music. Very loud signal w/o much QRM
and minimal QSB. As it should be for 1000kW!
Well, not too much DX done on the 9th. 'Tis the season for Xmas parties,
repairing antennas, etc.
