[IRCA] TP 4 Dec Victoria version.

A dull morning, though not a complete disaster; no real sunrise lift except on 1287, and post sunrise 1566. What is delineated below is brief peaks.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

972 1519UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling with splash or noise):

594 JOAK 1507UT

747 JOIB 1508UT

774 JOUB 1456UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

1287 JOHR woman in high speed Japanese 1559UT, fading down to a single pip on the hour.

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

693 JOAB //702 1502UT

702 NHK2 //693 1502UT

828 sounded like English lessons; no parallels available 1534UT

1566 HLAZ likely. Female vocals 1540 and 1545UT; Also man in Russian sounding talk 1653UT

1593 CNR1 man talking //6175 1544UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

567 738 891 945  1134 1188 1242 1269 1422  seemed to be Asian;
nothing much seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick
