Listened from 1251-1320 utc. Five Russian long waves heard this morning, been a while since receiving this many LW stations. Upper MW channels much better than the anemic lower MW channels. Surprised to hear China on 1323 with good signal briefly and possible China on 1476 with poor signal. Interesting conditions on this spring morning. Have a nice weekend.

189    RUSSIA, Petropavlovsk, Radio Rossii 1235 fair signal with music. HPAW 04/12/2013


234    RUSSIA, Arman, 1242 weak to signal with Russian talk and music. NW ewe. 04/12/2013


279    RUSSIA, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Radio Rossii 1249 fair signal with the Doors "Light My Fire" NW ewe.  04/12/2013


774    JAPAN, Akita, JOUB NHK2 1254 very weak signal with Japanese at times, battling 770 KTTH splatter. NW ewe. 04/12/2013


1053   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, 1257 jammer with weak signal and moderate splatter. NW ewe. 04/12/2013


1323   CHINA, Huadian, CRI 1259 good signal briefly with Chinese music. Faded out at 1300. Back at 1301 with weak signal. 1304 Russian language. NW ewe. 04/12/2013


1476   CHINA? 1312 poor signal with Asian language. NW ewe. 04/12/2013

1503   JAPAN, Akita, JOUK NHK1 1314 weak signal with woman in Japanese. NW ewe.  04/12/2013

1566  REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Cheju, HLAZ FEBC 1316 very good signal with two women in Japanese. NW ewe. 04/12/2013


1575   THAILAND, Rasom, VOA 1518 very weak signal with music. NW ewe. 04/12/2013
