Thank you for passing this on Rick.   I met him only once, at the 
Calgary convention, where we somehow ended up being the 
co-auctioneers.  He had a fine sense of humor, and was a worthy 
replacement for Mr. Bytheway.   And as Bruce mentioned, he was a 
major force in the early days of the club.

And in recent years, still a supporter of the club.   He presented 
the elections committee report for me a couple of years back in 
Colorado Springs, and always voted in the elections.

(and to you club members.....think of Bill, and cast your vote 
yourselves, ballot was in the 30 March 2013 DX Monitor)
