I also had a great time too....until I got home and two days later got
knocked out by a nasty case of the flu. I'm still battling it (spent
most of today in bed). Not sure if it was the clown 3 rows back on the
flight out of Philly that was sneezing away but Marie Lamb who shared
the room with me also got sick when she got home although she has pretty
much recovered. 

I've been doing a combo of lemon juice, honey, and pouring boiling water
into a cup and drinking that-trying to get rid of this as quickly as
possible before I leave for the UK next week.

Hello, 
I've finally recovered from my umpteenth fest and thought I'd drop a
line a let you all know I enjoyed myself tremendously. 
The "Knights of the Roundtable" met a night earlier than usual
(Thursday) in the Hospitality Suite. Due to this unexpected night of
drink and conversation, I was a complete zombie by Friday evening and
Saturday is just a blurr ... thanks Sir Ulis! 
I took the Technician Test on Friday Evening and much too my surprise I
passed. I now have the call of "KB1KYW" .... cool call huh? It's cool
that I passed the test in the suburbs of Phillie and was rewarded with
the call letters of the 50,000 Watt Phillie AM Station "KYW". 
I'm sorry I missed the reunion of the original members of the ITDXA,
Myke Weisekopf and David Goren for Friday nights Listeners Lounge. Those
VE's from the ARRL demanded I buy drinks in celebration of passing the
test ... so I headed off to the bar and before I knew it, everybody in
the bar was a Volunteer Examiner and we closed the bar and emptied my
wallet :) 
Joe Buch's presentation on BPL was the most educational forum over the
weekend 
and I have decided to fight this fight. I thank Joe for all his hard
work. 
I did my best to chat with all of the attendees and I'm not sure if I
managed 
to accomplish that task. If not ... there's always nect year.
