[Swprograms] Can I run on the Ambiguous Party even if I'm not Canadian?

I wish to run for the Canadian House of Commons on The Voice's
Ambiguous Party ticket, featured on Monday's "The Current". However my
riding is just a bit outside Canada. (I can see the Empire State
Building out my window.)

(If I'm not mistaken, the word "riding" for district originated in
Yorkshire.)

By the way, there's a George Ade (Chicago-area humorist around 1900)
"fable in slang" about a politician who always went into pretentious
b.s. ("From the rockbound coast of Maine...") when asked difficult
questions. One night his wife asked him why he came home at 2 A.M.
reaking of booze. He started off with his version of The Voice and she
said something like "that sort of thing may be OK for the rubes but if
you want to square things with wifey get me that hat in Marshall
Field's window".

The pre-sufferage moral was "some women SHOULD get the vote".
