half hour of Haitian Kreyol). But the “wow” is they played several
tracks by a radical politically-charged black US band from the late
1960-1970s, The Last Poets. Credited as the beginning of rap. A stern
warning in advance announced, the lyrics. And there it was. Loads of

kid-choral ``full`` version which means when you think it`s over,
another verse plays. Finally finishes at 0604* and cuts OFF the air,
uncovering algo in English. IRCA Mexican Log`s frequency list at the
bottom has info about NA handlings:

are having problems with one of the 50 KW transmitters they normally
use for DRM into the Pacific Islands and are having to use the other
for best purposes to cover the islands. Nothing is wrecked at the
station. One should remember RNZP is there to provide radio services

``The Patriot``. Day pattern barely reaches Enid on fringe contour,
but night pattern has deep notch thisaway, so suspect day pattern

** U S A. 5850, Jan 26 at 0526, this WRMI continues to be AWOL, but
5950 has been extended and with huge S9+50 signal that 5850 used to
enjoy. I think that 5950 is now on the 315 antenna that 5850 had used,
but is it the WRMI-12 transmitter which had been on 5850, or the
WRMI-8 as shown for 5950 at 355 degrees? Programming now on 5950,
weaker 7730 & 7780 is S Asian? violin? music. Other WRMI fqs? 7570 off
and nothing heard on 9395.
5950 further monitoring: at 0614 operatic solos with piano
accompaniment, 0628 outro in English crediting Bamberg Symphony, and
0629 Prague outro via WRN, 0630 into Slovakia in English via WRN,
`Listeners Tribune` part 2 music, not really a mailbag. System H sked
shows on UT Mon & Tue only at 0600-0630, R. Prague International, i.e.
English on 15770, not 5950! And then at 0630-0700 daily, Slovakia in
Spanish, not English, on 15770, not 5950! Note that at 0629/0630
transition, both are coming via WRN, and the System E sked shows WRN
relay on 5950 and several other frequencies. On 5950 at 0730 it`s WRN
Deutsche Welle in English, starting `Living Planet` // 7780 only.
Tony Pavick reports: ``While not weather related, unlike the previous
week and as well as with WWCR and WTWW, WRMI suffered its own ring of
hell last night as 5850 was extremely unstable. As early as 0200 UT
the carrier on 5850 was repeatedly dropping. Reports I saw said that
Jeff was returning from HFCC and was notified whilst en route during a
stopover in Hawaii. It seems that all 5850 programming has been
shifted to 5950 after 0500 UT. 5950 is still on the air at 1230 UT``

ice storm circa Lebanon. George said it was hard to get to the site.
By 1539, 9930 is S9+25/35 with OK modulation. Wolfgang Bueschel also
