Logs
** BRAZIL. 11780, July 20 at 0034, RNA suptorted as usual here,
degrading music show, S9/+10 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 11584 approx., July 20 at 0031, garbled Spanish, S2-S4 but
loud, i.e. spurblob out of 11670 RHC which is distorted. A stronger
one around 11627, so these are at intervals of 43 kHz away; also
11713, and the next two altho weaker, happen to exchange QRM with
other RHC fundamentals! 11756 vs 11760; 11799 vs 11800, which is JBM;
also a trace on 11842. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6935-USB, pirate, Radio Nova sent eQSL without
specific request, having seen my report of it July 19 at 0100; thanks!
Says 100 watts, 43-foot vertical antenna; colorful illustration of two
terrifying creatures costumed for some fiesta, #94 at:

With this note: ``Thank you for your reception report, which is much
appreciated. Thanks for tuning in and we hope you enjoyed our "World
Music #2" show, which featured the music of Juaneco y Su Combo from
Perú and Radio Free Honduras. Your eQSL is attached. 73, RADIO NOVA``
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA [non]. Thanks for eQSL from Texas Radio Shortwave for
6070 broadcast via Channel 292, GERMANY, #95 via:

http://www.w4uvh.net/QSL.html
https://www.w4uvh.net/TRSW - TCOTM eQSL - Hauser.jpg

with this note: ``Ahoy Matey Glenn - Third Mate Susan said "Until next
time, remember that land was created to provide a place for pirates to
visit."

You heard the inaugural Treasure Chest of Texas Music program and
here's your limited edition eQSL. Thank you for publicizing our
broadcasts. We hope you'll tune in again soon.

73 and Arrgghh. Always be yourself. Unless you can be a pirate. Then
always be a pirate. Texas Radio Shortwave

Sailing into your ears from the Lone Star State``
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 97.5, July 19 at 2353 UT, ``Rock station, 97-5 KMOD``
after adstring with one on Peoria Ave., marginal signal again
signifying that the other Okie on 97.5, closer to here in Alva, KPAK
The Quake, is still absent. Still unremarked in WTFDA FM DB as if it
exist.

BTW, if you hear a street named Peoria, it`s probably from Tulsa, as
it would be rather redundant for Peoria to name a street Peoria. There
is however, another major Peoria artery, in Phœnix AZ but it`s E-W,
while Tulsa`s is N-S. Is there a Tulsa or Phœnix street in Peoria IL?
More downtown Tulsa streets are named for: Boston, Cincinnati, Denver,
Boulder, Cheyenne, Elgin, Frankfort, Hartford, Kenosha, Madison,
Norfolk, some of them in alphabetical order. Harvard and Yale are also
recognized by Tulsa (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 94.3, July 19 at 2350 UT, in another bandscan for
sporadic E DX, fruitless despite 90+ MUF blob to the NW, can`t help
but notice the KLGB-LP Enid`s air is dead again --- but $ tereo and RDS
steady as KLGB plus four blank spaces. Meanwhile sibling station on
same little tower, 99.9 KVBN-LP is nominal. Ditto silent KLGB July 20
at 0043, 0217, 0245, 0418 chex (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR)

** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 2043 monitoring: confirmed UT Monday July 20

Also confirmed UT Mon July 20 at 0130 & 0230 on WRMI 7780, G-VG at

Rochester SDR, and Area 51 webcast, 4 seconds apart, but just before

Also confirmed UT Mon July 20 at 0353 the 0330 on WRMI 9955, poor
direct at S4-S8; JBA or not in Latin America SDRs except Pardinho,
Brasil, good at 0358. Pulls the plug 0400 before ID can finish. Next:

(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 5890, July 20 at 0029, WWCR-4 is on here with Brother
HyStairical instead of 7520 where is scheduled to be at 0000-0200,
then 5890; why? Mixup? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
