** MADAGASCAR. "Hi Ron, Today at 1404 I had JBA talk on 6135 as 49m
is almost faded out here except for 6170 NZ. Could this 6135 today be
anything but Madagascar long path? I thought maybe you would have
checked today as I have not yet gone thru all recent or new reports
about this. Glenn" to Ron Howard, Aug 24.

"Hi Glenn, Was not at the beach this morning, but I'm very confident
you were in fact hearing Madagascar, because recently they have been
having very decent reception on 6135, about 1330+. Here is a typical
recent reception of their African music/singing -

Ron, California"

Also in the NASWA Flashsheet, Ralphus W Perry, IL, reports Mad on
6135.01 Aug 23 at 0408 with "unmistakable chanting", 0410 Christian
hymn on Sunday; vs presumed Brasil on 6134.82 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
This report dispatched at 0344 UT August 25
