| A-22 SCHEDULES
Linx to several varieties are on the WOR homepagehttp://www.worldofradio.com
Look for A22; some not yet updated still go to B21, or even A21. The*final* free major WRTH updater covering A22 is expected in early May
** CUBA. 5040, April 10 at 0153, S9+10/20 of dead air in French fromRHC, where something`s always wrong (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 5055, April 10 at 0153, JBA carrier. Certainly not Australiaat this hour. N American pirate has been here recently; but could be
leapfrog mixing product of 5025 Rebelde over 5040 RHC another 15 kHz
beyond. YES, recheck at 0614, now there is enough music audio on S7/S8
to make it // 5025, both of which must be from same site, Bauta.
However, no reverse leap can be detected on open 5010. Something`s
always wrong at RadioCuba (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 6060 & 6165, April 10 at 0612 are by chance the two remainingRHC English frequencies, while 5040 is still on in Spanish.
6060 at S9+20/30 reads weaker than 6165 at S9+40, but modulation is
slightly louder on 6060. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn
 Hauser, OK, WOR)
** OKLAHOMA [and non]. 341 MCW kHz, April 10 at 0622 UT, ND beacon EIat Woodring Airport is OFF again, as I can copy only OIN in Oberlin
KS. I listen intently for at least a minute, but no trace of . ..
which was amazingly weak anyway for 25? watts a few km away. EI had
been consistently heard active since last reactivation March 30, after
a long absence since early August.
341 MCW kHz, April 10 at 1815 UT almost local noon, EI is again on,and audible every octosecond (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR)
 ** SWAZILAND. 11879.971, April 10 at 1456, off-frequency open carrier;1458 music box IS and ID ``TWR from Eswátini``, twice or thrice, 1500
into African language, music. Note how they pronounce the country,
stress on the A just like in Swáziland, not Eswatíni as I and others
had been guessing. They should know. Somali scheduled 1500-1530, plus
another 15 until 1545 on Sundays. This hour is squeezed between
 Romania`s and China`s 11880 usage. I would not be surprised if it`s
 long-path (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** UKRAINE [non]. 7730, April 10 at 0501-0507, YP1 via WRMI, `Ukraine:Security Issue` another English segment of war news, preparing for
great attack on Donbass, etc., very well done summary, sufficient
direct to NW tho aimed NE (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 293 MCW kHz, April 10 at 1816 UT, FBY, ND beacon atFairBurY, Nebraska. This is the only one commonly audible from a
second-adjacent state in full daytime. Fairbury is in SE NE some 15 km
from the KS border; 422 km or 262 stmi from Enid. That is, 17 km per
watt or 10.5 miles per watt (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 2133 monitoring: confirmed UT Sunday April 10at 0030 on WRMI 7780: S8/S9+5 into Knoxville SDR. Now aimed 222
degrees so how is this log periodic off the back in Europe, which
would be 42 degrees, close to the direct-to-Europe antennas centred on
44? S7-S8 very poor in noise level. Also checked Bonaire to the south:
 S5/S8.
Also confirmed UT Sunday April 10 at 0323 just started about 0322 onWA0RCR, 1860 AM, MO, S9+10 groundwave into nearby SDR. Next:
2000 UT Sunday IRRS 1323-Italy2230 UT Sunday WRMI 5950 to NNW [to be canceled? still Apr 3]
0030 UT Monday WRMI 7780 to SW
0300vUT Monday WBCQ 6160v Area 51 to WSW
0030 UT Tuesday WRMI 9395 to NNW; 9455 to WNW
2230 UT Tuesday WRMI 9955 to SSE [jammed]
1000 UT Wednesday Unique R, Australia 5035-USB or 3210-USB [new]
1030 UT Wednesday WRMI 5850 to NW
2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW
0030 UT Thursday WRMI 9395 to NNW; 9455 to WNW
0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S; 9395 to NNW

 ** U S A [and non]. 4790, April 9 at 0352 during R. Angela with `UncleBill`s Melting Pot` on WBCQ, I am alert for the ``uteblaap`` QRM,
listening via Maryland remote --- and there it is, 2-second bursts
every 3 minutes near top of these minutes: 0352, 0355, 0358. Also
separate 3-minute cycles from about 0359.7; but WBCQ signs off circa
0400. Now will the blaaps continue? Yes, so they are external to `BCQ
and rather weaker tonight than before. The first cycle still noted at
0401, 0404, 0407; and the second at 0402.7. On the waterfall some of
 these small sharp images appear right on 4790, such as the 0404;
others a few kHz above or below. Those may have been within the
audible bandwidth when hearing WBCQ tuned to 4790. But who or what is
doing this, and why? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 4980, April 10 at 0616, WRMI-4 is back, with TOMBS. Missingever since first noted March 31; I have never seen nor found any
explanation of why. Also resumed is parasitic JBA spur on 4975. At
S9+30 subjectively 4980 seems stronger than before, antenna change?
Still allegedly 160 degrees, same as 9955 & 5800 (Glenn Hauser, OK,
 WOR)
** U S A. 990, April 10 at 0447 UT, Morse code ID barely copied asWWKY, direct into my R75 via E/W longwire which happens to be aimed
close to KY already; but lots of QRM, led by CBW to the north side
 with Debussy at 0444.
1150, April 10 at 0452 UT, 1 kHz tone with brief breaks; 0454, VVV VVVVVV DE WMST ID marker, 0457 sweeps upward. For this I`m on the DX-398
in order to null KSAL Salina KS to the north which otherwise dominates
at night here with major lobe thisaway.
So I managed to DX both direct; tnx for the tests. 990 WWKY is inWinchester KY running 1 kW ND day power; 1150 WMST in Mount Sterling
KY with 2.5 kW ND day power. Earlier, I listened to them both via the
Lexington KY SDR to familiarize myself with what they were sending.
Surprised it was not maxed out until I logged on, already in use by
someones in California, New Zealand, and Ukraine! Glad one can still
do some non-DX listening there. The NZer is Dene Lynneberg, editor of
an NZ DX Times column about SDR DXing specifically, segregated from
 direct DX logs. My notes:
Starting at 0415 April 10 on 990: tone here stronger than on 1150.0416 upward tones, jingle ID, more tones; S9 with some storm noise
from the Atlantic. 0418 singing ID and sweeps upward; 0419 phone off
hook pulses, more upsweeps. 0420 VVV VVV VVV DE WWKY [8 times, good!]
back to VVVs. 0426 phone off hook, YL full WWKY test announcement
explaining it. Are 1150 and 990 separate or //?
1150, at 0421 upsweeps while 990 is in VVVs. I quit web at 0439 andover to my direct radios, as above. Did not record anything, so
despite all this detail, cannot get QSLs (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 9975, April 10 at 0631, KVOH is still on past nominal 0600*with praise music, not the usual bigsig but S7/S9 with Doppler flutter
as the ionosphere is disturbed. Same signal strength and Dfl even
affects 9955 WRMI. No wonder: K index of 7! WWV reported at 0600:
 ``Solar-terrestrial indices for 09 April follow.Solar flux 107 and estimated planetary A-index 19.
The estimated planetary K-index at 0600 UTC on 10 April was 7.
Space weather for the past 24 hours has been strong.
Geomagnetic storms reaching the G3 level occurred.
Space weather for the next 24 hours is predicted to be strong.
Geomagnetic storms reaching the G3 level are expected.``
