Confirmed UT Friday June 3 at 0330 on WRMI 7780, S7/S9 with stormcrashes into far-offbeam Maryland SDR, the first SW airing this week.
Also confirmed Friday June 3 at 1430 on WRMI 9955, S5/S9 atop Cubanpulse jamming.
Also confirmed Friday June 3 from 1815.3 on IRRS SW via Bulgaria 7290,S5/S7 into NW Ireland SDR, on LSB to avoid USB warble. Also via AM
Italia, Villa Estense, on both 918 & 1323 kHz at equal identical sound
and levels into nearby Noale SDR; but not on LW 207.
As usual I tuned in by 1755 for what might precede: 1323 & 918 in sometalk show; 7290 occupied only by the weak Chinese. 1800 cut to Feature
Story News; and 7290 not cut on air till about 1800.85 JIP FSN and now
// MWs. 1804 FSN Spotlite. 1805 instead of usual News in Brief from
UN, into a kidchorus with a takeoff of ``Glory, Glory Hallelujah`` in
unknown language. 1806 some other music. 1809 intro the ``Top 5 of
1949``. 1810 ``You are listening to the Country Jamboree``, then
cowboy song. 1815 IRRS ID with PO Box otherwise denied, 1815.3 into
WOR until 1845 a show of Irish music.
WOR 2141 also confirmed Friday June 3 at 2030 on 918 & 1323, same goodnearby reception as before, and no longer QRM from Romania presumably
 due to later sunsets.
Next: 0130 UT Saturday on 9395, as above (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. Re my log of `Cruising the Decades` on WBCQ, and mycomments, Dan apparently forwarded to Brad Savage and this exchange:
``Brad, There was a report about Cruisin The Decades and how it is notlisted on your page. Is the show still on? Thanks for any update.
 Best, Dan``

 Subject: Re: radio show question
``Hi Dan! It sure is. We're actually working on a new website for thatshow specifically, because the "global" version is now heard on 17
stations across the U.S. and Europe. It's on shortwave (WRMI, WBCQ,
and Channel 292) at various times plus several AM/FM/community
 stations.
Here in Ohio, the "regular version" of the show is on The Summit at5pm on Fridays. We also broadcast the "global" edition shared with all
the other stations, and that is on at 12mid Saturday nights
 (technically Sunday morning at 12:01am)
KEEP TUNED and thanks! BRAD --- Brad Savage, Program Director, TheSummit, WAPS 91.3 FM Akron/Canton, WKTL 90.7 FM Youngstown/Warren,
 W211BT 90.1 FM Athens; 309 Woolf Ave, Akron OH 44312; 330-761-3098;

** U S A. (7489.9v), UT Sat June 4 at 0050, WBCQ webcast of `AAAWWW`which I quickly recognize as repeat of last week; insults to
left-wingers. Never mind (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. Finally my first sporadic E FM DX session of the season,June 3 at 1517-1640 UT from Florida et al.; also 2326-2344 UT from
Minnesota. And also 10m ham beacon DX from all over at 2205-2248.
Researching all this is not finished before I need to dispatch this
report, so will have details for next time (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** VANUATU. 7890, June 3 at 0630, JBA carrier in bandscan, so I knowR. Vanuatu must have reactivated 3945 and its harmonix, and
 immediately tune to X3 =
11835: song unseems ``island music`` past 0636 and none of usualdrumming and announcements at this time; weaker than usual S5/S6.
Manuel Mêndez, Spain and Ron Howard, CA, also caught it back on.
 BTW, Vanuatu has made an aid deal with China, which is spreading itsinfluence among Pacific islands, like already with Solomons;
diminishing Australian, US influence. Ron Howard refers us to:
 China strengthening ties with Vanuatuhttps://english.news.cn/20220601/b0054fa85650433bb752cf34f5d2f614/c.html
And DXer Bruce Churchill, Capt., USN, ret., replies: ``I hope no onereally thinks that China is only interested in promoting benign
“cooperation” with Vanuatu (or any of the other 10 Pacific Island
nations they are courting). What they are really doing is taking
advantage of total neglect of these nations by both the U.S. and
 Australia – in China’s “36 Stratagems” long-term strategy (Google “36
Stratagems” for more info), #12 is “Seize the Opportunity to Lead Away
a Sheep”…in other words, take advantage of (in this case) a power
vacuum when it presents itself. China’s long-term plan for the Pacific
is a threat to both Australia and the U.S., and for those not steeped
in history, think Tarawa, Peleliu, Truk, Kwajalein, Guam, Saipan, et
al., that we had to wrest from Japanese control at the cost of many
thousands of American lives. “Those who neglect history are doomed to
repeat it”, as the familiar saying goes. Bruce``
Remains to be heard if RV will keep going on 11835 rather than aone-shot like the week before (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
