The External Services Division of the All India Radio is expanding its
transmission of Persian (Farsi) language service from existing 1 hour 45
minutes per day to 3 hours per day with effect from June 8, 2022.

Programmes in Persian language will now be available to the listeners 
daily in the morning and evening, AIR said in a statement.
Updated time & frequencies :
Persian -1 Service 0400-0530 UTC (0930-1100 IST) on 17675 kHz (Via 
Bengaluru, 500 kW)
Persian -2 Service 1600-1730 UTC (2130-2300 IST) on 9620 kHz (Via 
Bengaluru, 500 kW)
AIR Persian Service will also be livestreamed on AIR World Service, 
YouTube channel, NewsOnAIR App and DD Free Dish.
