Lookout ON. These are JBA vs still high line noise level worst at LW
and MW, no longer SW. Glad to be hearing any Canadians as they sink
into general summer noise level (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CHINA. 11935.002, Apr 17 at 2330, into UTwente, a weak S6 signal of
pop music, not noise and not to be expected from Yemen or Sa`udi
Arabia, so presumed CNR5 in Mandarin, a.k.a. Cross Strait Radio, from
Beijing site aimed at Taiwan, sked 2300-0900, except earlier closing
at 0600 on Wed for weekly maintenance. Heavy ACI from much stronger

WOR) ** SPAIN. 17855, Wed Apr 17 at 2200, token English from SNR, VG S9+30
direct; 2207 feature interview about the Feria de Abril en Sevilla,
which is apparently a big deal with millions of visitors, many from

S9/+10 on meter direct but very inferior to Spain, and not easily
copied. Sign-on as if this be the 1230 on 17620 - no doubt a playback
of that original, but how can they ignore the several repeats later?
They used to concede that the final two at 2200 and 0300 were repeats,
but now apparently the news in all of them is olds, up to 14.5 hours
stale. 2251 into UTwente when measured, S9+45, `Sports Panorama` about to
end, mentioned Oklahoma? 2253 s/off for 17620 at 1230 only.
