February 21, 2025: First ever Mexico long wave beacon heard at 0622UTC - XE2EJ - with strength of -28DB and 2588 miles from Douglas, Mass. Frequency: 475.759 Khz. I have been listening on longwave since 1958 beginning with a WWII surplus BC-1206-CM Receiver which were used in WWII fighter planes. Antenna: Horizontal Loop, 529 feet long, 30 feet high.
