** AUSTRALIA. 11870, March 30 at 1458, S7 music, announcement in
English by Reach Beyond about next program, IS and ID. HFCC shows
1450-1500 & 1500-1530, 100 kW, 320 degrees from KNX in Myanmarianese,
nowhere near thisaway, but T/E advantaged. Had I tuned at 1400-1430,
RBA should have aired `Wavescan` for first time, instead of Nepali
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** BRAZIL. 15189.8, March 30 at 0123, JBA carrier, even unto indoor
randomwire strung around ceilings of two rooms during lightning storm.
Got to be R. Inconfidência on signature offset (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** CHINA. 9540, March 30 at 1459, Chinese, S6/S8. HFCC A25 shows
1500-1530 only, CNR in Zho = Chinese, 150 kW at 340 degrees. EiBi A25
shows this span only is to jam RTI in Cantonese, but SOH is also on
9540 for much longer hours (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA [non]. 9490, March 30 at 0132, R. República announcing its
sked daily 9-10 pm on 9490, M-F also 10-11 pm on 5800. I.e. in EDT, so
01-02 UT daily 9490 via FRANCE; 02-03 UT Tue-Sat on 5800 WRMI. No
jamming audible now, as it seems DCJC has stopped all jamming? not
just of gone R. Martí on SW (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** JAPAN. 13860, March 30 at 0656, Japanese at S8/S9. HFCC A25 shows
07-09, on two Yamata transmitters of 300 kW each, same antenna type
208, at 55 and 85 degrees both for CIRAFs 14 & 16 = Argentina & Chile
before sunrise - so are they alternates or really both at once?
Another 13860 pair at 12-13 at 290 & 305 degrees on different
antennas, 145 and 208 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** KOREA SOUTH [non]. 11880, March 30 at 0134, Spanish at S9+15 still
here, KBSWR via Woofferton UK, ex-Greenville. On the edge of A25, so
further chex needed as Alan Holder points out this is missing from
their A25 sked:

``Unless there is a last minute change, 11880 kHz 0100-0200 UTC (WOF,
ex GR) has been deleted. So no more relay in Spanish for South
America. Only direct broadcasts from KOR site for Spanish. Alan
Holder, G4ZBH, Isle of Wight, U.K.``

However, 11880 WOF 01-02 remains in HFCC A25 for the entire season, so
perhaps overlooked in own sked; why go to trouble of moving it from GB
to WOF only to cancel it? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** MADAGASCAR. 15440, March 30 at 1454, S Asian language at S6/S8 is
the SSOB: HFCC A25 shows TWR in Urdu, 1430-1500, 250 kW at 35
degrees, nowhere near thisaway but T/E advantaged (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** NEW ZEALAND. 13690, March 30 at 0655, S9+15/20, RNZ National ID
with timecheck ``before 8``, so still for another week on nonsensical
DST of UT+13, ex-13755. A25 sked shows 0558-0958, then 11725 to 1258,
7440 till 1650; and preceded by 17675 from 2059 (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** ROMANIA. 11945, 0135 UT Sun Mar 30, classical piano music, pieces
briefer than the Romanian announcements between, such as 0138, i.e.
RRI now in A25, 00-02, 310 degrees from Galbeni. Alan Roe`s Music on
Shortwave as of Jan shows this as `Radio Concert Season (Classical
music)` when it was an hour later at 0200-0256 UT Sundays on 9700
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** ROMANIA. 11820, 0254 UT Sun Mar 30, pop music, VG S9+30 direct, the
SSOB and OOFSOB. A25 HFCC shows RRI Spanish at 02-03, 300 kW, 310
degrees from Galbeni for
CIRAF 10 = Mexico. Also 11780 as alternate? and from Tsiganeshti on
15130 or 17760 unchecked yet. YET, then recites entire *B24* SS sked
with now all-wrong times and frequencies, such as this hour at 03-04
on 9740 & 9545; oops (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. I keep getting spammed by those wanting to ``help`` WOR stop
being ignored on YouTube. Guess what, I am not in it for $ $ or to

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2288 monitoring: confirmed UT
Sunday March 30 at 0320 on WA0RCR, 1860 AM, MO, about 11 minutes into
so the 0315v started early circa 0309, S9+20 into nearby SDR vs high
storm noise level even there and not really readable direct.

Also confirmed Sunday March 30 at 1900 on IRRS SW via AM Italia,
1322.996+ kHz, S9+7 into UTwente, after s/off announcement for 7275.

Spanish about Jesús, only S6/S7. So WEWN expanded to long hours, at
least 14-03 UT. In HFCC, available 14-06, 100 kW at 155 degrees. Still
no English on 15610 or anywhere (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 7505, March 30 at 0259, no signal from WRNO nor earlier;

** U S A. 790, March 30 at 0705 UT, trying to catch whether it`s KFGO
or KGHL, after CBS news, detailed local ``weatherscope`` and IDs
instead as WSGW Saginaw MI, also on 100.5 FM - which is not a mere
translator; U4 5/1 kW on 790 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 1530, Mar 30 at 0712 UT, bluegrass/country music QRMing
WCKY talk, presumably some station out of whack: see previous report
for candidates. Tried to DF it but nothing certain; Spanish also in
there presumably TX (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 7200 LSB, March 30 at 0257, music mixed with talkovers,
the naughty-ham channel; otherwise the bands are crammed during some
contest (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 15230, March 30 at 0657, JBA music. HFCC A25 shows Iran
at 0550-0820, also Xi`an, China at 03-09. Sirjan also at 0920-1250; DW
via UAE at 14-15. Keep these in mind when guessing unregistered Cuba
on one of its last barely funxional transmitters, most useful before
15 or 16 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
