Hauser, OK, WOR)
** SPAIN. 15500, Wed Apr 16 at 2207, token English at 2200 from SNR,
S9+10/25 direct to NAm; almost as good on 17715 for SAm, weaker 15520
for ME, and JBA 15390 for Africa; at least they are all on air (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)
** TURKEY. 11785.007+, Apr 16 at 2206, after missing two days, VOT
English not off the air, JBA direct S9+10 = noise level; into UTwente
at 2237 when measured, S9/+5, sufficient but weaker than normal in
degraded propagation. 2247 ``always-by-your-side`` promo, music. 2251
multi-lingual ID filler reel. 2253 s/off as if it`s the 1230 on 17620,
awry at Ankara; 2254 IS chopped before can finish first note sequence
even once, no finesse, erroneous at Emirler (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 750, April 16 at 0625 UT, into E/W longwire, something in
Spanish QRMing WSB at about equal level, praise music and brief
comments, seems to include an English word in non-IDs. This is
definitely something odd, not normally heard at all. I eliminate WSB
by aiming the DX-398 N/S, and keep listening. 0627 talk about
matrimonio. Mentions ``buenas nuevas`` which has always seemed to me a
too literal translation of ``good news``. What is a ``nueva``, anyway,
as opposed to a noticia? 0633 singing ID as ``Radio My Praise``? Not
sure of key word. 0642, ``My Bread``? ``Música con mensajes``. Strong
and hardly fades at all, indicating proximity, not Mex or LA. Dozed
off and missed ToH ID 0700 if any; still going at 0707.
Later checking NRC AM Log, it`s obviously KMMJ, Grand Island,
Nebraska, of the group named ``My Bridge``! One of those rare AM
stations with a limited-time license, L1, neither daytimer nor
fulltimer, but depends on LSR and LSS at WSB Atlanta. That certainly
does not include the middle of the night!! Power 10500 watts. Of
course they have mere FM translators where 24h is legal: per
radio-locator, K260AF, 99.9 in Kearney, K284DC, 104.7 Grand Island.
There are no others beyond these 3 in the MyBridge group, per NRC.
Has broad pattern favoring SW, bit of notch toward WSB.
https://radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/pat?call=KMMJ&service=AM
A.k.a. ``Mi Puente`` but what I`ve been hearing sounds more like
Bridge. HQ is in Aurora, or Lincoln NE, see

** U S A. 880, April 16 at 0644 UT, brief tunearound during 750 KMMJ
monitoring finds another Spanish here making low SAH with KRVN,
``Radio Visión Latina``. None such in NRC AM Log, but previously
identified as KJOZ Conroe TX, which made a big deal of adding AM 880
to 106.1 FM, in Houston:
https://www.instagram.com/radiovisionlatinatx/reel/C7RzTLGPIf8/
It`s U4 10/1 kW. WTFDA FMDB shows 106.1 is a mere translator, K291CE
in Houston, licensed for 28 watts but outputting 900 (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)
** U S A. 1650, April 16 at 0618 UT, continuous tone matching keyboard
at D# = 311 Hz, presumed overnight filler by KSVE El Paso (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)
UNIDENTIFIED. 9936.00, Apr 16 at 0606, open carrier but with clix
every 3 seconds, sometimes with some others between. Clix detectable
out to 9917/9951, and probably a bit further if it were not for STANAG
noise and BBC 9915, WRMI 9955. What is this? Yet another one ending in
6 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
