I continue to digitize my cassette collection (the oldest I've found so far dates to 1979, but there are older ones, I'm sure). Today's question: One tape is labelled 1/1996 RTE. It's in English. I don't have an older WRTH available than 2000 here at the condo. I suspect that this was via a N American relay. The date of transmission was 7 January 1996 (as per the sports reports). Was this via WWCR on 12160 at 2000? That's what is suggested in the 2000 WRTH. I do recall special broadcasts from RTE on SW relays, but not the regular programming.
