on 6000 khz once again last night, I have posted an air check of 60
minutes from 0210 UT forward.

what I heard doesn't seem to exactly match up with their program
Schedule.

seem to be complaining about no audio or audio and video being out of
sync. Nonetheless this channel seems to be one of the most popular in
Cuba, possibly because it rebroadcasts TV series and movies from the
United States. One has to wonder why this would be on shortwave in place of regular
programming from RHC. I'm not sure if this is also being heard on
medium wave. Is it possible that it is actually being used to backfill
in places where people are complaining about having no audio on the TV
signal. Could it be that RHC has absolutely no new programs available.
and are back filling with this audio just to keep the transmitters up
and going. Could it be that the link between the RHC studios and the
transmitter site at Quivicán/Titan operator just simply likes
Multivision. No matter what, just something to document for the history of Radio

parasitic spur carriers but no splash or other spurs. 5920 is also on
as usual overnight with TOMBS. But is 5085 going to remain all-night
too? Had been closing at 0300* except UT Sat when trying to play WOR
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 7570, Aug 19 at 0630, this WRMI is OFF, contrary to
schedule. Also anomalous, 7780 is stronger than 7730. This hour, all
are supposed to be on System E with `Classic Redneck Radio`, along
with 5800, 5850, 5950, 9455, 9955 which are on (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR) ** U S A. 780, Aug 19 at 0640 UT, WBBM continues with news, traffic
and weather, skipping `StarDate` at what had been a reliable time for
it. Canceled, moved or an anomaly? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 1470, Aug 19 at 0648 UT mentions 102.7 FM. New NRC AM Log
shows the only match is KDHN Dimmitt TX, U4 500/149 watts. WTFDA FMDB
agrees, K274DG. Dimmitt is SW of Amarillo between Hereford & Earth
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 1640 kHz, Aug 19 at 0646 UT, local KZLS Enid is OFF,
audiblizing instead ``Relevant Radio`` which is WSJP Sussex WI =
Milwaukee market. After all these years, why is the X-band still so
sparsely populated? Only 5 stations total in USA on 1640. Could not
many more be accommodated on the original plan of U1 10/1 kW?
Meanwhile, many `regional` channels are crammed, not just graveyards
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNIDENTIFIED. 1320 kHz, Aug 19 at 0651 UT, repeatedly mentioning
WLS.com for tickets to something, but not // 890. I guess a show
originating there? In case it need to be near Chicago, suspects are:
IL, Kankakee WKAN; WI, Wisconsin Rapids WFHR; MI Lansing & Marquette;
none in IN (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNIDENTIFIED. 1431 & 1469 kHz, Aug 19 at 0644 UT, again the JBA
carriers hetting 1430 & 1470 with 1-kHz pitch, suspected spurs out of
some 1450 station exactly halfway between them. I`ve had zero replies
to my request for local monitoring in order to locate source. I`m
curious: has anyone even tried, without finding any? (Glenn Hauser,
