** OKLAHOMA. 1680, Oct 15 circa 2010 UT, Virtual DJ Radio relay
carrier still on and audible at hotspot of US412/81 junxion, but dead
air or possibly JBM. Until now it had been extremely reliable whenever

** ROMANIA. 11800, Oct 15 at 2159, surprised to hear RRI IS, weak
direct; English at 2200 had been on 9740 in A-season, too low for us
in summer and intended only for W Europe, but no trace of that now. At
2240 into UTwente, 11800 is only VP, and no 9740. RRI website claims
this transmission be on 9740 only: they can`t even convey own schedule
accurately; something`s botched at Bucharest. HFCC shows both
registered, Galbeni, 300 kW at 300 degrees; as alternates? Or in
better times, both (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SPAIN. 17715, Wed Oct 15 at 2200, weekly English from REE, S9+10/20
direct on SAm channel, still no 15500 for NAm, and other two much
weaker, 15520 & 15390. Marilyn Quintana, still sola, claims she is
``live`` but that was at 10 UT; preview topix women`s rights, women in
gastronomy? or astronomy?; 2202 news of the week. By 2205 has already
faded down to S9/+10, too weak (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TAIWAN [non]. 17790, Oct 15 at 2206, RTI in Spanish via WRMI and
again // 15770, good on both (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) See also USA

** TURKEY. 11785, Oct 15 at 2158, no signal from VOT direct in
English,  nor by 2202; but next check 2217 now it`s on, S9+20/30
direct, music and English. Something`s always erroneous at Emirler

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2316 monitoring: confirmed Tuesday
October 14 starting at 2332 on SW Gold Radio, Germany, 3975.002, S7/S9
into UTwente.

Also confirmed UT Wednesday October 15 at 0030 on WRMI 9395 after
`Everglades` ID, S9+5/10 into Maryland SDR. 

Also confirmed Wednesday October 15 from 1931.7 on SW Gold Radio,
Germany, 3975.001+, better than 6160.000 at S9+5 with RTTYditty on
plus side.

Also confirmed Wednesday October 15 at 2100 on WBCQ 7490 -66 Hz =
7489.934, S8/9+5 into Maryland SDR.

Also confirmed Wednesday October 15 at 2330 on WRMI 9395, S9+10 into
N9AZZ IL remote. Next:

0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S;
1630 UT Thursday SW Radio, Germany 6160.

Maryland SDR, VG S9/+15 into Bonaire at 0030 with Slovakia in Spanish.
Skedgrid now dated Oct 15 shows System H on 17790, 160 degrees toward
S America: 2200 Taiwán Spanish, 2230 Soteriah Intl, 2300 Prague
French, 2330 Prague English, 0000 Praga Spanish, 0030 Eslovaquia
Spanish, 0100 Taiwán Spanish, 0130-0200 Slovakia English. The pink
System H sked, however does not show 17790 *at all*, but mostly same
lineup on 15770 and/or 7730 and/or 5850 and/or 5010. Daily with some
exceptions such as at 2230 Sat WOR, Sun Wavescan (Glenn Hauser, OK,

** U S A. 780, Oct 15 at 0642 UT, after `StarDate` from 0640, WBBM
timecheck as ``45 past the hour``; and at 0643, ``46 past``, i.e. 3
minutes fast. This seems to be routine night after night. Altho local
Chicago weather, traffic, etc., sound live, I guess this be all
automated, and misprogrammed. Don`t you believe the WBBM clock! Are

** U S A. 920, Oct 15 at 0712, KYFR hymn S9+40, owning the frequency
as usual, direxional thisaway from site SE of Omaha, almost to the MO
border in SW corner of IA. NRC DX News Oct 21, published Oct 13:
``920  KYFR IA Shenandoah – Using U1 600/600 since Sept. 16, phasor
problems`` - Apparently this be already passé. Not paying much
attention to gospel huxters, but I think it had been much weaker
lately. Normally it`s U4 5/2.5 kW with major lobes day and night SSW
thisaway. Omaha is within both day and night local coverage contours.
Daytime fringe extends to SE corner of SD and to Wichita KS, but
inaudible by Enid (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** URUGUAY [and non]. 28430 USB, Oct 15 at 2211, CX7RM, Spanish
contact with KP4OMR, also audible but weaker. QRZ.com:
