** VATICAN. 17800, Nov 27 at 1529* tune-in just in time to hear VR IS
and off; retune to stronger 15565 at 1530 VR IS, ``LIX`` catch-phrase,
opening Ethiopian language, S9+5/15. One of best signals on band as we
continue to marvel at how well SMG broadcasts into the opposite
direxion of nominal targets. 17800 was Malayalam to S Asia, 250 kW at
98 degrees; 15565 Amharic to E Africa, 250 kW at 139 degrees, so
directly off the back would be 319 degrees toward N America (Glenn

UNIDENTIFIED. 7298.0-7316.4, Nov 27 at 0725 a bunch of JBA carriers
beating against each other, about 1.6 to 1.7 kHz apart, but nonesuch
elsewhere on the spectrum tuned, so real rather than birdies? 7298.0,
7299.66, 7301.36, 7303.0, 7306.36, 7308.0, 7309.7, 7313.0, 7314.7,

UNIDENTIFIED. 11760 & 12095, Nov 27 at 0721, JBA carriers are the OSOB
in degraded propagation, probably CNR1 China rather than Cuba, and BBC
