South Arlantic Beacons

HCDX
November 29th: two South Atlantic beacons were noted today. Beacon DP0POL located on board the research ship Polarstern located in Grid Square IJ15 off the west coast of Africa at 2040UTC in 10.140193 mhz in WSPR mode. Also in WSPR mode was Beacon ZD7GWM located on St. Helena Island at 2112UTC on 10.140225 mhz. Signal Strengths -25 and -20. Bill Smith, Douglas, MA RX: Palstar R30A ANT: 529 foot horizontal loop at 30 feet.
