Hauser
** CANADA. 351 MCW kHz, Dec 1 at 0734 UT, dash and YKQ, 500-watt NDB
at Waskaganish, Québec. Under current prop and noise situations,
seldom hear any Canadians other than 346 YXL, but right now, YKQ is
better. ``Waskaganish is a Cree community of over 2,500 people at the
mouth of the Rupert River on the south-east shore of James Bay in
Nord-du-Québec, Canada`` - distance 2259 km = 1403 stmi. Seldom heard:
Jan 23, 2024 and March 19, 2023 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 6000, Dec 1 circa 1235, strong deadair from RHC, as I am
unfortunately awake; SAWA (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 9710, Dec 1 at 0535, RHC S8/S9 but JBM, English? Nothing on
6000 now. But at 0538, 11760 deadair with windhowl, S6/S7. Something`s
always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 11880, Dec 1 at 1625, RHC S7/S8 with music, only frequency on
right now, OK modulation (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 11880, Dec 1 at 1957, retune-in just in time to hear music
mod cut off but carrier remains at S9+10/15 into Georgia SDR. 15140 is
also on at S9+10, no mod but windhowl. So once again RHC silences
itself just before English can start at scheduled 2000. No signal on
11760. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 338 MCW kHz, Dec 1 at 0735 UT, TU, unknown power NDB at
`Oillr`, Tulsa. Hepburn list says 30 watts (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR)

** PHILIPPINES. 17665, Dec 1 at 0248, R. Pilipinas in English has been
reactivated, via USAGM Tinang site, S7/S8 into Udon Thani, Thailand
SDR. Almost as good on // 15640 but not on // 12020. Other monitors
thought it went off at 0230 instead of scheduled -0330, but there
must have been interruptions, and resumptions on one frequency or
another (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** PHILIPPINES. 12120 // 9925 // 9370, Dec 1 at 1835, R. Pilipinas
1730 Tagalog service also reactivated, from USAGM Tinang site, all
three about the same VG into Hyderabad, India SDR, S9+10/30. IIRC,
there could be English segments included (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 344 MCW kHz, Dec 1 at 0542 UT, JA, 400-watt NDB at `Dinns`,
JAxonvil FL, a kilomile away (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 359 MCW kHz, Dec 1 at 0732, GGF, power unknown to RNA list,
NDB at Grant NE. Seldom heard. Hepburn list says 25 watts (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 385 MCW kHz, Dec 1 at 0730 UT, UWL, 25-watt NDB at New
Castle IN, and mix from something else. Several in USA, but HO, 50
watts at HOt Springs AR, heard before (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 407 MCW kHz, Dec 1 at 0545 UT, HRU, Herington KS, a nearby
regular, unusually has CCI from an understation repeating at almost
the same exact period, and happens to send most of its ID during
pauses between repeats of HRU: OO#, but the third letter is mixing
with the H of HRU. RNA list shows it must be: OOC, `Campi`,
Natchitoches LA, 25 watts on a period of 7.794 seconds, while HRU`s
period is 7.890 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 410 MCW kHz, Dec 1 at 0548 UT, BA, 25-watt NDB at `Clifs`,
Columbus IN. New or seldom heard (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 426 MCW kHz, Dec 1 at 0549 UT, JBA carrier: I have been
checking for this especially, since only one North American is listed
on this outlier frequency: UV, 25 watts at `Tunng`, Oxford MS. My
local noise problem is slightly less above than below 300 kHz (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 8992 USB, Dec 1 at 1939, USAF crypto exercise message
fonetikaly starting with AKGZKU repeated by YL voice, vs some
background noise sounds like mis-tuned music, swells during her
pauses. Then ``message of 45 characters follows`` as always starting
with the six just previewed. Did not copy it all; noticed very few
numbers included vs letters. Also audible on USBs 15016, 11175 and JB
in daytime on 4724. ``I say again``, long pause and then whole thing
repeated, ending at 1943 with ``This is pilch, out`` -- the tactical
call never repeated, and that`s only what it sounded like (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2323 monitoring: confirmed Sunday
November 30 at 2003 the 2000 on IRRS SW via AM Italia, 1322.998+, S8.5
into UTwente.

Also confirmed Sunday November 30 at 2257 the 2230 on SW Radio Gold,
Germany, 3975.004-, S7/8.5 into UTwente.

Also confirmed Sunday November 30 at 2330 on WRMI 9455, S9/+20 into
Georgia SDR.

Also confirmed UT Monday December 1 at 0000 on WRMI 9395, S9/+10 but
noisy into Georgia sDR; better S7/S9 into Champaign IL SDR.

Also confirmed UT Monday December 1 at 0030 on WRMI 9455, S9+18 into
Champaign IL SDR.

Also confirmed UT Monday December 1 at 0030 on WRMI 7780, S9/+10 into
S Texas SDR.

Also confirmed UT Monday December 1 at 0359 on Area 51 webcast.

Also confirmed UT Monday December 1 at 0400 on WTWW 5085, VG direct at
substitute time since was off air at 0400 Nov 29. Knoxville SDR had it
S7/S9 at 0422, but QRM from clicking on the minus side. Next:

2030 UT Monday SW Radio, Germany 3975;
0330 UT Tuesday WRMI 7780 to SW;
1400 UT Tuesday WRMI 9955 to SSE [also web-, phonecast];

Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 7505, Dec 1 at 0612, WRNO on late again, S9, groupsinging
C&Wish song, can`t tell if praise, then live? DJ with ``12 past the
hour`` timecheck, song was ``Just Another Day``; 0616 ``another of
your favorite songs on 7505 WRNO Worldwide``. Format change? Still on
at 0722 now down to S7/S8 VP in Chinese and English. Spelling out
English words so apparently English lessons for Chinese (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** U S A. 9275, Dec 1 at 1626, WMLK with DEJOM huxtering, night
frequency on in the morning instead of usual 15150. Are they
experimenting, or just unreliable? 1935 check, not on 17525 nor either
of the other two (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 780, Dec 1 at 0640 UT, `StarDate` on WBBM 105.9, never mind
insignificant AM 780, but episode heard before, yesterday? on another
station. WBBM always deletes SD`s own intro specifying the Date! So
when Billy specifies something to see ``tonight`` or ``tomorrow`` it`s
unknown what day he axually refers to! Also *Date was unusually
totally missing the night before as WBBM continued talking about
stupidballgames (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. Re my 1090 WCRA report: ``1090 WCRA IL was strong all last
week at night and even heard on south antenna from Ontario. Perhaps
the only reason I’m not hearing it this week is that I’m not at my DX
site. Saul Chernos`` Nov 27 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. Re my 610 report, this from Saul Chernos, Ont.: ``I had
a Mexican anthem a few years ago on 610 from Ontario. Even the experts
couldn’t make out actual identifiable details... so it remains a
viable target`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

This report dispatched at 2004 UT December 1
