Of course not! Discussing stupid ballgames as its primary format, Los
Dodgers de Los Ángeles. Hmm, is there any way to say Dodgers in

word is also dodgers. They have a hard time pronouncing the -dg- like

And not to be confused with Bolivia`s R Mosoj Chaski on 3310. I would
want more definite log info to assume this! {He does not even specify
a language.} If active during those hours, someone should more easily
DX it over all-night path. BTW, chaski means receiver in Quechua.
Shouldn`t it mean transmitter? BTW2, WWCR makes a leapfrog mixing product on 5980, but only when 5890
& 5935 are both on, certainly not at this time, but has fooled some
DXers as something more exotic. [Later:] Aha, 5980 is also in HFCC for R Marti at 1100-1400; may or
may not be active or reliable currently from Greenville. Need to check

has VG signal, mentioning Beckham county - which is in OK, and Moore,
city near OKC. Same calls in previous report a week ago, locations:

had been missing a while. Announcer speaks with a heavy accent, I

advance program sked agrees on French now and ENGLISH tomorrow, UT
Wednesday. They still don`t introduce us to the new spEEkers. 12030 is
the only usable frequency despite beamed away toward ME, as NAm
channel 9690 remains imaginary. Alan Roe did hear English online Wed
Dec 10 at 1100 UT, and the new announcers are named Daniel Riobóo, and
Alba Cuéllar. 12030, Wed Dec 9 at 2300, REE timesignal and immediately into English,
S9 fading to S5 direct, making copy tough. 17715 & 17755 are but JBA
carriers while 9690 to NAm is still imaginary. Daniel sounds like a
male, altho a photo caption implied female. Will listen later to

assume that's her in the image alongside Marilyn Quintana. I did enjoy
the English hour online this morning, and hopefully listeners can
catch it on shortwave later today at 2300 UT. I have however commented to Daniel and Alba concerning the
presentation style. There was too much background music heard,
especially during the interviews, which became a little intrusive and
I think that when heard on shortwave it could become a problem for
listeners to fully understand. I have pointed out that shortwave
reception, even on good days, is usually not the clearest with noise
and fading, so it is preferable to not have background music during
the interview segments and that perhaps it would be better just to
fade in snippets of the music between natural pauses in the

music is too loud, and a peeve with NPR news programs is that the
music fades up too soon, as if we always needed a reminder that the
report or interview is about to end. And of course on shortwave it

some of the news in my radio magazine “EuroBureau” on our local
