News about aspects and locations in the Northeast of Brazil, external reporting with a reporter with a strong Northeastern accent. News from Maranhão, Rio Grande do Norte and other smaller locations. S=4. **Checking the streaming of this station, it was found that the programming presented corresponded entirely to this station. At 2356 UTC time, the reception of this station began to decline, with the signal of Radio La Nueva, 1150 kHz, Sauve Viejo, Argentina, coming in. The Radio Cabugi signal went to zero after 0000 UTC.

VENEZUELA
.. 4940 kHz: Estación 4940, Spanish, Dec 20 at 0202-0212. An apparently religious program, commentary by OM. The signal received in southeastern Brazil was extremely weak; the words of the male voice were only partially understood. DXers from various locations report that this station may be a pirate station, and that it transmits from a Venezuelan region near the border with Colombia.
