** CUBA. 11760, March 23 at 1407, RHC not off the air, S9+20 with good modulation during song in English; also weaker 15140 S7/9+5 and not too much windhowl? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 11880 & 15140, March 23 at 1858, RHC in Kriyol, about S9+10/15 on both into Georgia SDR, but 15140 is JBM and 11880 slightly overmodulated and distorted. Somethings always wrong at RHC, but tolerable. Instead of cutting to dead air before English can start, keeps modulating! 1859 IS, 1900 English opening previewing contents of first [only] hour: News, Viewpoint, Science/Medical, Culture/Arts. Immediately following ID is time to snatch IDs. 0503 ``La estación más caliente?`, string of government PSAs, 0504, ``esto es música continua`` - IRCA shows `La Más Caliente` is a slogan of XEPH, a.k.a. This weekend I have heard several IDs for KUCO/KBCW/KCSC, the relays you disposed of a year ago. Inserted within programs; were you playing back old airchecks? For example, Sunday at 10:20 am {1520 UT} inside Sunday Baroque? Monday 6:33 am {1133 UT} during Concierto, and why was it playing then? Monday at 1:21 am {0621 UT} ending From the Top, NPR, evidently from year 2019, IDs and starting Wind & Rhythm. Why at these hours? And why don`t you include on your program schedule what`s really airing at 12-6 am, especially weekends? Regards, Glenn Hauser, Enid`` Reply: ``Thank you for your email Glenn. KUCO had a connection failure that links the studios to the tower forcing our station to play backup audio for on-air and streaming. We have since corrected the issue.
