500 kW outlet I have DXed in the past here unto deep North America as
perhaps the most likely E Asian signal; TP MWDXing has not been
feasible since I became a night owl needing to sleep well past
sunrise; nor the three other 500 kW NHK2s on 693, 747, 873 kHz, any of
which I would like to hear one more time before they`re gone, as
notified in the WOR iog and on WOR 2340:

``NHK announced R2 will close its 95 years history at 1505 UT on March
29, 2026. At 1500-1505 last closing message will be on air. Most of
the programs of R2 will be transferred to "NHK AM" (former R1) and
"NHK FM" after March 30, except; Arabic Lesson, News in
Thai/Chinese/Korean/Vietnamese (to online only), Stock Market Reports,
"Easy Japanese" (to NHK World Radio Japan) and other 4 programs. The
transmission licenses of all R2 stations (including 4 500 kW sites -
