Glenn Hauser logs March 28, 2026
Saturday, March 28 2026

Hauser
** CUBA [non]. 530, March 28 at 0655 UT, JBA music, too weak to be R.
Enciclopedia if on; that leaves CHLO Ontario (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 5025, March 28 at 0626, S9+20/30 of dead air from R. Rebelde.
Standard remarx. No RHC frequencies found on now (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** MALI [non]. 5995, Mar 28 at 0629, no signal from Bamako, normally
audible not fading out till later (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 90.1, UT Sat Mar 28 at 0359, Classical KUCO with IDs for
WPNE 89.3 and WHAD 89.7, which are in Green Bay WI and Delafield,
adjacent Door County also mentioned, amid `Beyond the Barrier`, 2-hour
ambient music show. These were not funding acknowledgements, but legal
IDs as if we were really listening to those stations. Also heard the
IDs at an odd time during previous hour. Never noticed this before on
BtB, which I try to hear every UT Sat at 0300-0500 on KUCO. I guess it
originate on WPR, but WPNE is supposedly on the WPR News network, WHAD
on Music network. It`s also replayed a few hours later before sunrise,
part of KUCO`s secret overnight programming. I searched out info:

https://www.wpr.org/shows/beyond-barrier
``WPR Beyond The Barrier -- Host Chris Kuborn’s musical journey is
continuing on from “Jazz Odyssey.” Since 2006, Chris offered listeners
the best in modern jazz. He’ll now take listeners on another musical
journey into the world of electronic and ambient music. “Beyond The
Barrier” features soundscapes and music from the early pioneers in
this genre to today’s newest artists. The program also features live,
never-before heard music created just for each episode.

Schedule - This program has been retired. Hosted by Chris Kuborn.
Note: “Beyond The Barrier” ended production on May 17, 2024. Archives
of past programs are available below.`` But there are still current
March 2026 dates for episodes:

https://encompass.tv/solutions/radio/world-radio-network/network-schedules/

** U S A. 7505, Mar 28 at 0631, S9+10/25 of deadair from WRNO.
Something`s messedup in Metairie, fouledup in Fort Worth (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 790, Mar 27 at 0658 UT, mentions 92.9 FM - no
correlations in NRC AM Log, nor WTFDA FMDB. However, KNST Tucson has a
sibling station on 92.9, The Bull. There could well be other instances
of such one degree of separation, not obvious without deeper research
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
