Has anyone measured the 2-3 stations on this channel at this time of night?
At 23:30 UT Saturday night April 25, I checked:
1467.000 kHz appears to be an IRN station?
1467.002 kHz is the strongest signal in Europe in English,
Small signal strength = 9 + 30 dB,
otherwise, possibly a sidelobe signal in Finland with a 9 + 20 dB little
less,
near Mauno Ritola's SDR location.The power supply uses 50 Hz technology,
meaning that there are accompanying 100 Hz plus/minus sideband strings
visible.
I also see a string far away at 1466.992 kHz,
at the edge of Europe. This could also be an interference noise string...

There is a lite het on the plus side while I am default-tuned in USB,
less than 1 kHz. Not there on LSB, and much stronger reading in AM
mode, S9+10. 2331 program ID; 2341, ``15 before top of hour``;
inviting reception reports. 2354.5 ``shortwave radiogram`` beepery -
shouldn`t that be mediumwave?? By 0007 Apr 25 check, 1467 is off. This
is on the 1000 kW transmitter at Roumoules, FRANCE; I`m sure we all
wonder what a megawatthour of airtime costs, but probably
confidential. Or not! Tony Pavick says, ``I would love to do it again,
but at €430, unless I win the lottery it is a bit out of the question
apart from the occasional use perhaps once or twice a year.``
