wrong NZ remote, but WWVH was saying something JBA at 2245 when
propagation info had been airing; need further chex also of WWV,
following this from Joe Hanlon, NJ: ``Have you noticed this? The propagation reports that are usually
heard at 18 minutes past the hour on WWV are silent! Has this service
ended without notice? Maybe it was eliminated for budget reasons, or
something else? If anything, we as SWLers/DXers who depend on this
service, which was updated every 3 hours, should write to NIST and
request that it be restored. Having current propagation and solar flux
info would be useful for us. Btw, I noted the omission of the
propagation reports at 1918 UT, and again at 2018, on 15 and 20 MHz,

next moderate R2. 10000, by 1518 UT Apr 28, WWV direct has resumed the propagation info.
If we had tone instead of tix only during this minute, it would be a
bad omen of the prop report really deliberately canceled. Mike Cooper
and Ron Howard also received a reply from NIST/WWV that there had been

$ tereo pilot from never IDed pirate/part 15 transmitter, range only a
few blox, beyond which I was getting full-power KECO Elk City OK. 95.5
is also a strange choice as we have a local on 95.7 (Glenn Hauser,
Enid, WOR) ** SPAIN. 15500, 15520, 17715, Mon Apr 27 at 2206, absolutely lovely
music on REE, apparently Sephardic per announcement at 2209. 17715 for
SAm is axually stronger direct, S9+20/30 than 15500 for NAm, S9+10/20,
but 15500 preferable with less fading. Also for ME 15520 which pales
only by comparison. Sked shows `España es música` with Marcos Mostaza,
but only occasional episodes may be heard from archive. All times for
this, not all during SW hours, are: ``Lunes 13.04 y 22.00 UTC. Martes
07.04 y 17.30 UTC. Jueves las 16.30 UTC. Viernes a las 01.00 UTC.
Domingo 02.04 y 12.30 horas UTC. Somos música, somos raíces, somos

April 27 from 1931.3 on SW Radio Gold, Germany, 6160.000+ S9+10 with
RTTYditty QRM unless bandwidth <8 kHz; and 3975.001, S8/S9 into
UTwente. Missed checking UT Tue Apr 28 at 0330 on WRMI 7780; anyone hear it? Not confirmed Tue Apr 28 at 1303-1313+ on WRMI 9955, instead S5/S7 of
dead air direct! 9395 and with Encore 15770 are audibly modulating. Not confirmed Tue Apr 28 at 1405, 1414, 1430+ still dead air! But with
splash from 9930 WTWW. Hope WOR at least on WRMI stream, not checked
until after 1500 when heard with something else. Confirmed Tuesday April 28 at 2000 on IRRS SW via AM Italia,
1322.995, S9+12 into nearby Noale SDR. Next: 2230 UT Tuesday WRMI 9955 to SSE [also web-, phonecast];

time my first search is in the WTFDA FM DB for 98.7s relaying any
1420. Three hits: K254CI of KWBF Lubbock TX; K254FT of KTOE Mankato
MN; K254DK of KUJ Walla2 WA. Surely KWBF or KTOE. Then, NRC AM Log:
98.7 not shown for KTOE or KWBF, but for KUJ - but that`s least likely
due to distance. Has KWBF on 98.3 instead but call still as K254CI,
i.e. error; this seems familiar, may have gone thru this before. KWBF
is U1 500/140, REL; KTOE is U2 5000/5000, TLK/OLD format. Night
pattern major lobe to SW thisaway so I`ll go with KTOE! Was also
hearing C2CAM on 1420 just before this, and KTOE is an affiliate of
that (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** VENEZUELA. 4940, Apr 28 at 0652, Estación 4940 is off again (Glenn
