** CUBA. 15140, Dec 15 at 1552, RHC Spanish with windhowl, S9+10/20
direct. Also clear Spanish about US & Venezuela S5/S7 on 15230, S7/S9
on 11760, and no other frequencies. Something`s always wrong at RHC

** CUBA. 15140, Dec 15 at 1955, S9+10/20 RHC Kriyol with windhowl, and
in clear on S9+15/20 11760, direct. 1959 IS, 2000 *still modulating!*
intro and into ``first`` English hour with Ed Newman; previews later
`Scientific and Medical Review`, `news` past 2008. Slight distortion
and breakup at times on 11760, but for a long time had been cutting to
dead air this hour instead of English. Oh oh, about 2010 cut
modulation, carriers still on, with 11760 audiblizing underneath
FRANCE in Hausa at 2000-2030 only. Something`s always wrong at RHC

Sounded like KFYR but must have been KFYO Lubbock TX which is wagged

** U S A. 1140 kHz, Dec 15 at 0754 UT, ad for a liquor+ store sounds
like Willikens?, finally mentions Sioux Falls. Google thinx it`s
WilLiquors. Anyhow this must be KXRB U2 10/5 kW. Night pattern favors
west to NW to north, with a notch to the SW but a minor lobe toward
Yankton, maybe what I am getting if not ND day pattern and power. Site
is axually in SD (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 11455-11510 approx., Dec 15 at 1555, multi-carrier,
multi-tones beating against each other, peaking S9+25, as I have
reported recently in this range, and various others such as circa
17450. Kevin Cozens also inquired about this to the ODXA iog:

[odxa] ``Very strange signal above 11 MHz being heard now [1454 UT Dec
15] Greetings, all. I hope there are some people in the southern
Ontario area that can help identify a strange signal I'm hearing for
the second time.

I live just north of Toronto and I'm hearing a signal that peaks at S9
that stretches from 11440 all the way up to 11540 kHz. Around the
peaks it is a bit raspy but otherwise no modulation to speak of. Not
that I can detect from the audio. I don't have a panadapter or
spectrum analyzer to look at the signal. The signal is being heard as
of 9:35 am ET [1435 UT Dec 15]

This is the second time I've heard this signal. Last time was on
December 11th when it was heard at S8 between 11510 kHz and 11570 kHz.
That signal was first heard around 9:30am ET but gone when I listened
for it after lunch.

The signal strengths I'm reporting is as indicated by a Grundig
Satellite 800 located in a second floor bedroom using just the built
in whip antenna. Does this have anything to do with the Canadian OTHR
system that was mentioned here before? -- Cheers! Kevin``

ISADUDE replied: ``This appears to be the HF financial trading signal
that is in development. The data could be from the Illinois area being
sent to England, or so they say. The UDXF group on groups.io speak of
it often. I don't believe it's fully running as of yet, just in the
testing stage, but in UDXF there are more enlightened individuals who
can assist you further``

``Could this be the same signal I am hearing on 13560 - Ron trotto
wx4kwi`` - ``As for 13560, I have constant 24/7 weak digital signals
there which are RF ID scanning devices at unknown nearby stores, as in
EiBi: `13560 0000-2400 XUU RFID devices /XUU` -- XUU meaning unknown
locations. 73, Glenn Hauser, OK``

ISADUDE: ``I must be late on the 13560 khz because I have it clear
here at the moment [1625 UT Dec 15]. They do move these systems around
the bands from what I understand. Supposedly faster data transfer than
internet/telecoms but I am only relaying what I recall from those
monitoring on the UDXF group. I have interests in monitoring other
signals to those so I would suggest going to their site and asking for

again R. Gloria, Switzerland via R. Onda, which is registered in HFCC
as only 1 kW, non-direxional. Hard to believe what I am hearing is not
running a lot more power than that. Also reported by Gianni Serra:

request. 3) Canada. 4) Siddartha Papajarjee, India, asking if

December 13 at 1700 on WRN North America stream, and via WRMI 9395,
S5/S7 into Maryland SDR, inaudible on 7730. But I can confirm 7730 via
Georgia SDR, S7/S9.

Also confirmed Saturday December 13 at 1830 on SW Radio Gold, Germany,
3975.002, S7/S9 into UTwente; 6160 remains off, taken over by ChiCom
music.

Also confirmed Saturday December 13 at 2030 on WRN North America
stream, also via WRMI 9395, into N9AZZ Illinois remote. And also still
not on WRMI webcast of (9955) despite schedule, rather music.

Also confirmed Saturday December 13 from 2031 on WA0RCR, 1860 AM, MO,
S7 into N9AZZ Illinois remote; less noise problem than usual at first
but worsening before 2100.

Missed checking Sat Dec 13 at 2200 on WRMI 9395; anyone hear it?

Not confirmed Saturday December 13 at 2257 the 2230 on WRMI 15770,
since that transmitter is still off the air! No signal into Maryland
or UTwente.

Confirmed Saturday December 13 at 2257 the 2230 on WRMI 17790, S5/S7
into N9AZZ IL SDR.

Not confirmed UT Sunday December 14 at 0030 on webcast only of
IRRS/IPAR/NEXUS/IBA: like Friday attempt, a few words from me and then
silence, replaced by fill music. And at 0044 check some other talk
program was running. I reminded IRRS once again about this as there
are three more airings pending. And re-uploaded to their server in
case my original got corrupted. Would anyone awake at 1030 UT Sunday
please check whether the whole thing play on 9510, or at least the
webcast. Mauno Ritola, Finland, replied: ``It's now 1050 and your show
has continued without breaks since 1030`` - IRRS also advises that my
original upload had a mistake in the file name, so my fault!

Not confirmed UT Sunday December 14 at 0400 on WTWW 5085, a possible
alternate/replacement time since #2324, not 2325 ran 24 hours earlier
at regular time; instead, stayed on with Truth2Ponder. WTWW later
advised me that WOR may have run at some other time UT Sunday, and
also appear at some time on UT Monday, 0400?

0415v on WA0RCR, 1860 AM, MO, S9+5/12 into KM4RT SDR in west TN.

inaudible, but maybe on. At 0410 Maryland SDR had a weak signal,

UNIDENTIFIED [non]. 869.60, Dec 14 at 0258 UT, JBA carrier hetting WWL
870 - which is never the bigsig it used to be - but it disappears when
I turn off a nearby TV! Other offset MW carriers I am getting I still
think are real, but need to re-test them that way if the TV also be on
