Howeve, a broadcast engineer fixing an off the air station which provides
such a vital service would be likely be considered exempt from stay at home
orders.

I’m going to take a wild guess and say something major broke that they
don’t have a spare part for

I've been listening to the KTNN stream this afternoon, and the lady
announcer did mention that the AM frequency was off the air. She was
speaking a combination of Navajo and English, so I only understood part of
what she said. The KTNN staff is aware that the AM signal is off the air,
but they're not sure when it will be back on. She also mentioned something
about KTNN's AM tower, so I'm assuming there's some technical issues which
are affecting only the AM tower. The FM signal is still on the air.
