Great video presentation Paul.

The info about the various commercial pieces should be valuable to many.

For specifically MW operation you might have been able to get away with a 1:1 balun transformer and the common mode choke being outdoors and maybe everything else indoors. But maybe not.

Thanks for providing this.

I can’t soldier or add connectors on to things that aren’t already there but o can build when I’ve got complete pieces
I’ve had a few people over the years inspire me, give me ideas and push me in the right direction
Since I’ve had a few questions over the years about my 25 foot long by 10 foot tall magnetic loop antenna, I thought I’d share this video since were getting towards AM DX season again
This is a detailed, 10 plus minute narrated video on how my antenna is built, how it’s set up and how I use it.  It’s done with the paul walker aim of... building it with parts anyone anywhere can get and anyone, even as non handy and impatient as I am .... can build.
If I can do this... anyone can.

I didn’t have room for stuff indoors in a way that would’ve made sense and
not introduced more noise with longer cable runs... I try to do this in a
way anyone can but also keep noise to a minimum

KBS/TWR clash on 9515 kHz in Europe  View Printable Version

18 Hertz BUZZ tone fq distance.
9514.982 kHz TWR Manzini Africa from E'Swatini,
and 9515even kHz KBS Seoul KOR,

9515 kHz in usage by KBS for decades.

yes, this co-channel mixture,
plus 18 Hertz BUZZ tone distance
is very annoying frequency selection these days.

Can anyone supply me with the name and e-mail of the frequency manager for
TWR Swaziland (Eswatini)? The HFCC database shows Bernhard Schraut, but
there are so many errors in this list that I am not sure if he is still
responsible for the HF planning.

The reason for asking is I am trying to get rid of the dreadful clash
between KBS Korea and TWR Swaziland on 9515 kHz at 17:45 here in Europe,
which has been going on since the start of A20. An e-mail to KBS several
months ago (even written in Korean language to their Engineering section)
has resulted in no response. I thought I might have more luck if I
approach TWR, and explain that their signals beamed north from Manzini do
not automatically stop at the southern coast of the Mediterranean, but are
strong enough to badly affect the KBS European service.
